Zhana, along with 4 others represented Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, their Group "Equinox" was formed only for the Competition leading to only one song being released.
On July 16 2025, it was reported by Bulgarian media that Zhana Bergendorff along with a 43 year old man were detained for 24 hours by the police after a taxi driver reported that he was threatened with a gun by the 43 year old man from Plovdiv. The incident occured on the 15th July, shortly before 3pm in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria. [1]
In March 2025, the singer pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 3 years of probation for hooligan behavior and insulting police officers.[1]
