Her fame came in 1965 with her participation in the Sanremo Festival with the song The hills are in bloom .
In 1967 she married Edoardo Vianello and in 1970 their first daughter Susanna was born. The two separated in 1981.
On April 7, 2020 Wilma lives the darkest period of her life with the loss of her daughter Susanna: an incurable wound in Wilma's heart. To give her strength today her nephew Lorenzo, son of Susanna.[1]
