Retrieved from webcenter.bigbrother2000.aol.com A man of many interests, William is equally content to spend his leisure hours on a basketball court or in front of a chessboard. (He'll also, however, always find time for some good-natured flirting). Traveling the streets of Philadelphia, you could catch up with William at several of his favorite local haunts, including the Salaam barber shop, the Pearl of Africa bookstore, the Reading Terminal Market and the Zanzibar Blue bar and restaurant. Though William appreciates the healthy fare at Patterson's vegetarian restaurant, he's still a Philly boy at heart, and won't say no to a belly-filler cheesesteak from Larry's. Like housemate Curtis, William ranks "The Matrix" among his favorite films, alongside "Heat" and "Malcolm X". On his bookshelf, you'll find "The Autobiography of Malcolm X", Sam Greenlee's "The Spook Who Sat By the Door" and "The Bible". When it's time to get away from his hometown, William likes to stay in the East, opting for vacations in either Harlem or Atlanta. |
