Whitney found herself in The Southerners alliance at the beginning stages of the game, forming close bonds with Monte Massongill, Alex Willett, and Morgan Willett. She later joined the all-female alliance known as The Ball Smashers, with Alex, Morgan, and Shelby Stockton, which saw success for several weeks. After forming a bond with Justin Duncan, and fearing that she was at the bottom of The Ball Smashers, she betrayed them right before the Double Eviction. However, she and Justin were nominated by HOH Danielle Lickey, right after Alex's eviction, when Morgan and Shelby were saved by Morgan's Care Package. Despite Danielle and Jason Roy considering evicting Justin for his unpredictability, and the remaining Ball Smashers voting to save her, Danielle and Jason decided to stick with their alliance, and Whitney was evicted in a 3-2 tiebreaker vote.
