Wheel Of First Impressions is a recurring Head of Household competition.

Rules

The rules have varied across the times the competition has been used. The general idea is to select two houseguests based on first impressions and choose which houseguest gets to stay in the game and which one gets eliminated from the competition.

History

In Big Brother 2 (US), houseguests had to spin a wheel that lands on two characteristics. One houseguest will choose two other houseguests they think those characteristics best describe. Afterward, the house then votes which houseguest they'd rather see be the first Head of Household while the other is eliminated. This continues until two houseguests are left. Mike "Boogie" Malin beat Sheryl Braxton in an 8 to 2 vote.

In Big Brother 3 (US), the rules changed. This time, a houseguest is required to pick up two cards with a question on them and answer them with the names of two houseguests. Afterward, a wheel is spun and a houseguest is selected to choose which of the two houseguests to eliminate. Lisa Donahue eventually came out victorious, beating Lori Olsen in an 8 to 2 vote.

In Big Brother 10 (US), the rules changed once again. This time, the houseguests voted before they got to enter the house or even speak to each other. No extra task was needed, the houseguests simply voted for who they wanted to see win HOH, without voting for themselves, and then entered the house. Jerry MacDonald beat out Renny Martyn in a 4 to 3 vote. Who the remaining 6 votes went to and how they were split up weren't revealed.

In Big Brother 21 (US), the version from Season 10 returned, however instead of voting for someone to become HOH, they had to vote for who they wanted to become Camp Director. Ultimately, Jackson Michie beat out Jessica Milagros, Jack Matthews, and Nick Maccarone in a 10-4-1-1 vote and won the Competition.
