A favorite to win in BB20, Tyler became the ringleader of the Level Six alliance early on and was able to use his strategic mind and social charm to earn everyone's trust and control several evictions. He developed close friendships with Level Six members Angela and Kaycee and formed a showmance with the former later in the season. He also developed friendships with JC and Sam, despite nominating her during Week 1’s HOH. Despite being nominated in week 6, he was removed from the block by Angela. He managed to form final 2 deals with everyone in Level Six. He won 3 HoH's and 3 PoV's, making him the eighth male contestant to win six competitions and 12th houseguest overall. When Kaycee won the final HoH, she brought Tyler to the final 2. He did however, have a running feud with Bayleigh after asking her if his showmance would get backdoored from using the power of veto. Despite his strong strategic game, Kaycee's dominance in the competitions won her the game by a 5-4 vote, leaving Tyler as the runner up.
In BB22, Tyler found himself in a comfortable position in the dominant The Committee alliance. In week 5 however, he wanted to be nominated and evicted due to him feeling guilty over getting Da'Vonne and fellow BB20 castmate Bayleigh nominated. He even threw Dani under the bus, despite forming a friendship with her earlier. He also had minor clashes with Memphis, when he refused to use the veto during the latter’s HOH win in Week 7, to save David, as he was the latter’s target for backdooring. However his ally and the outgoing HoH, Christmas refused to put him on the block. In week 6, Dani, who learned from Bayleigh that Tyler threw her under the bus, nominated him as a target, but the two patched things up, and he was spared. He mended fences with Bayleigh from last season, and developed friendships with her, Christmas and David. He had disliked Kaysar and Janelle due to them making lies about his gameplay, and for flipping votes. In the third round of the Triple eviction, he became the HoH and successfully evicted Dani. In week 9, he was nominated and evicted in a unanimous 3-0 vote for being a huge threat. He placed 6th and was the 6th member of the jury.
Age: 23 Hometown: Rossford, OH Current city: Hilton Head, SC Occupation: Lifeguard Three adjectives that describe you: Resilient, charismatic, and questionable. Favorite activities: Working out, going to the beach, and surfing. What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother house?
Getting people to believe anything I say. When I'm lying, people think I'm telling the truth, but when I'm telling the truth, people think I'm lying. Which past Big Brother cast member did you like most? Victor Arroyo for his resilience, Zach Rance because he's hilarious, and Dan Gheesling for being a savage. Do you have a strategy for winning the game?
Get in tight with someone opposite of me, divide the house with them on one side and me on the other, get intel from their side from them while making sure they keep me safe by making them feel like I'm keeping them safe. Then, cut them in Final 4 when the time is right and take credit for the whole thing. My life's motto is...
Do whatever the hell you want. What would you take into the house and why?
My Spotify playlist to get me hyped for any situation.
A Pre-workout supplement.
An unlimited amount of quinoa.
Fun facts about yourself:
I fell in a muddy construction hole at 3 AM once and was stuck in there for 30 minutes.
I spent six months traveling Australia.
I got bit in the face by a fish at the Great Barrier Reef.
I fell off a pool slide when I was a kid and died... kinda.

To help Angela open her plant-based restaurant. What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother house?
Being away from Angela. We haven't spent more than five days apart since we met. Also,
getting anyone to believe a word that comes out of my mouth. Which past Big Brother cast member did you like most and why?
Angela Rummans because she was an ice queen on the outside but had a heart of gold on the
inside. What is your strategy for winning the game?
That is a great question. How does this strategy differ from the last time you played?
I can't make everyone think I'm just a dumb surfer dude this time around. First off, I don't surf but also because everyone most likely knows I did pretty well on Season 20. Have you changed/evolved since the last time you were on the show?
I feel much more humbled now. Big Brother 20 changed my life 100 percent for the better in
many ways and I couldn't be more grateful. I just need to try not to screw it up this time! My life's motto is…
"Happiness over everything." What would you take into the house and why?
-Angela to keep me sane.
-Angela's vegan cooking to keep me from starving.
-Angela's plant-based cookbook since I haven't seen it completed yet. Fun facts about yourself:
-I am a retired beach lifeguard.
-Angela and I own and operate a jewelry company called Naut & Chain.
-I'm still sweet at bowling.
-I like animals more than people. I went vegan with Angela at the start of 2020 and haven't looked back.
-I made a bet with my friend that I wouldn't cut my hair for five years.
If the Jury would have been the original seven-person Jury (thus removing Bayleigh and Rockstar from the Jury) and the same vote took place, Tyler would have won Big Brother 20 over Kaycee in a 4–3 vote.
During his stay in Big Brother 20, Tyler always voted in the majority.
During Big Brother 22, Tyler was the only person to make it to the end of Week 3 without participating in a Safety Suite Competition, due to winning HOH in the last week he was able to play in one.
Tyler shares his placements with Danielle Reyes. They both received 2nd on their first season and 6th on their second season, which was also an All-Star season.
