Tonya started the game in a strong position, using her close relationships with Chiara Jude Berti and Lisa Donahue to replace Gerry Lancaster in the dominant Cartel alliance. After joining her alliance in voting out Lori Olsen, Tanya’s game would begin to crumble after outsider Marcellas Reynolds won Head of Household. Tonya’s weak relationship with Marcellas landed her on the block as a pawn against Josh Feinberg. After this, Tonya felt safe and made no moves to campaign against Josh, while Josh took the opposite approach and went on a big campaign. Tonya’s case also didn’t help when she got into a public argument with Amy Crews and Marcellas, which led to the house believing that the confrontation showed her true color. Tonya’s passiveness along with her tarnished reputation led to her being evicted by a vote of 5-3, placing 11th, and becoming the 2nd member of the jury.

Tonya was arrested on May 27, 2010 for reckless homicide. All charges were later dropped after evidence showed that she had no alcohol or drugs in her system at the time of the accident.[2]
