During the preseason, Tina was voted by Canada to be the captain of Team Destiny. She was close friends with Tera Gillen-Petrozzi, and also formed relationships with Team Defender captain Kiefer Collison and Latoya Anderson. Tina played the middle of the house, being apart of both The Oddballs and The Sunsetters alliance, but her fellow houseguests began to catch on. In Week 7, She and Tera were nominated by Jedson Tavernier. After Tera won the Power of Veto, The Sauce alliance decided to backdoor Kiefer. However, they changed their minds and decided to keep him. After learning of this, Tina did a poor job of campaigning to stay and was evicted in 3-1 vote, receiving a sympathy vote from Tera. She placed 7th and was the 3rd member of the Jury.

Why do you think you were selected to be on BBCAN9?
Honestly? I have no idea! But I am glad they did . I’m still in shock that this is actually happening!
What part of the Big Brother Canada experience do you think will be the hardest for you?
Morally, the backstabbing and lying…but hey, it’s got to be done. And personally, being away from family and friends.
How do you want people to remember you as a player on BBCAN?
I hope to be one of the well-liked players – someone you’d want to have a beer and hang out with. The fun-loving, middle-aged Newfoundlander, who stepped outside of her comfort zone to have an experience of a lifetime, and take on the Big Brother Canada adventure!
