Tiffany Pollard, aka "New York" was the fourth place finisher of Celebrity Big Brother 17.
Biography
Tiffany is best known in the U.S. as a reality television show star. Her claims to fame came from appearances on VH1's Flavor of Love and her own show I Love New York amongst other short lived reality shows such as New York Goes to Hollywood and most recently The Next: 15. The nickname "New York" originated from rapper and reality star Flavor Flav and proclaimed herself the "HBIC (Head Bitch In Charge)", often used to entice other contestants on her reality show appearances.
Her appearances on Flavor of Love spawned her fame, and subsequent roles in reality television. The most famous of which being in 2006 where fellow contestant Brooke "Pumkin" Thompson spat on Tiffany after being eliminated. The moment was rated as as number one on VH1's 20 Greatest Celebrity Fights. After subsequent appearances on the Flavor of Love, Pollard recieved her own show, I Love New York to find love in the same vein of her previous relationship competition shows. The show debut was the most watched in VH1 history with 4.426 million views at the time of airing.
After the somewhat controversial and mysterious cancellation of I Love New York 3, Pollard had not been on reality television since 2011 and returned fully, beyond one appearance in 2015 on E's Botched, in 2016 by entering the Celebrity Big Brother house on January 5th.
