The Wall is a recurring endurance Head of Household, Re-Entry Competition and Nomination competition.
Rules[]
- A large wall is constructed, with a small platform for each houseguest to stand on. Depending on the season, the wall may also have fixtures which houseguests can hang onto.
- Houseguests must stay on the wall for as long as possible, while facing obstacles such as the wall tilting forwards, being blasted with cold water or slime, the platform under them moving, or being hit with large objects.
- Once a houseguest falls off the wall, they are eliminated from the competition. The last houseguest standing will become the new Head of Household.
Some seasons include a twist where balls are shot at the houseguests for them to catch. In these cases, the first houseguest to catch a certain number of balls, or the last houseguest to fall, wins Head of Household.
In some seasons, being one of the first few houseguests to fall off the wall can result in a have-not status for that week.

The competition first appeared on Big Brother 10 (US), during Week 4. Houseguest April Dowling won the competition, winning her first and only HOH of the season.
The competition appeared again in Big Brother 12 (US), during Week 3. Houseguest Matt Hoffman won the competition, winning his first HOH of the season. On Big Brother 14 (US) , Danielle Murphree won the competition, winning her first HOH of the season.
On Big Brother 15 (US), the competition has divided in 2 parts (the jury re-entry competition & the HOH competition). Judd Daugherty was able returned to the house, but Elissa Slater was the winner, and winning her first and only HOH of the season.
On Big Brother 16 (US), the competition was played at the first part of final HOH, Cody Calafiore won it, and was able to take part in the final part of the HOH competition.

Trivia[]
- James Huling is the first HouseGuest to play in and win this competition twice (and in one season).
- He is also the first HouseGuest to play three times, but he lost his third time playing, although he did come in 2nd to Nicole Franzel.
- Dani Briones is the first HouseGuest to win this competition in two separate seasons.
- Coincidentally, the Top 3 finishers in this competition on Big Brother 22 (US) were Dani, Cody Calafiore and Nicole, and all three of them won this competition before.
- Paul Abrahamian was present for this competition three times; they played in it and lost the first and third times, and the second time they were the outgoing HOH so they weren't allowed to play.
- Christmas Abbott was also present for this competition three times but never got to play; due to her broken foot she was not cleared to compete the first time, and she was the outgoing HOH for the second and third times. She still had a broken foot for the second time and would not have been cleared to compete anyways.
- Big Brother 11 (US) is the only season to not feature this competition since its debut.
- Kato Kaelin is the oldest HouseGuest to win this competition at 59 years old.
- Nicole Franzel, Jackson Michie, Taylor Hale, and Jillian MacLaughlin are the only houseguests to win this competition and go on to win the season.
- So far, a woman has won this competition the most with ten seasons.
- Taylor Hale is the first African-American houseguest to win the wall in the US civilian franchise.
- The horizontal version used during the premiere of Big Brother 25 (US) is the first time this competition was not used as HOH competition.
