History

Creation

The Pound was created in Week 3, when Matt Turner won Head of Household. The alliance name was created in honor of Pooch Pucciarelli, who had been evicted the previous week.

The Leftovers

Main article: The Leftovers

The alliance used the power they had as HOH to change the power dynamic of the game. After realizing how big of a threat the girls posed to them, the alliance pulled in Brittany Hoopes, Michael Bruner and Taylor Hale to form The Leftovers. This alliance would go on to dominate the game for the next several weeks.

Fallout

During the Split House Twist, Joseph Abdin, Kyle Capener, and Turner were selected to be apart of Terrance Higgins HOH reign in the backyard. Growing paranoid that Terrance was going to target him, Kyle exposed The Leftovers and The Pound to Terrance in an attempt to save himself and his showmance Alyssa Snider. Kyle’s plan was a success as Terrance placed Joseph and Turner on the block at the nominations ceremony. After Kyle betrayed the alliance, he was able to pull Turner back in and them along with Alyssa and Terrance created The Afterparty. Later, Joseph was evicted by a vote of 2-0. After Turner won HOH the following week, it seemed like The Pound was going to keep each other safe again. However, after Kyle was exposed for racist actions and him leaking him and Turner’s final two deal at a house meeting, Turner decided to put Kyle up as a replacement nominee, sending him home in a 5-0 vote.

Revival

Despite the alliance seemingly being crumbled, Monte Taylor and Turner decided to work together and managed to make it to the final three together after going on a competition run from the final six on. However, after Monte won the final HOH, he decided that he needed to make a big move to solidify his game to the jury, and he believed that big move to be evicting Turner, which resulted in Turner’s eviction. Despite Turner voting for Monte to win, the jury voted for Taylor to win the game in a 8-1 vote, thus making Monte the runner-up.
