The Leftovers is the dominant alliance of Big Brother 24 (US), that was created in third week of the season. The alliance consisted of Joseph Abdin, Michael Bruner, Kyle Capener, Taylor Hale, Brittany Hoopes, Monte Taylor, and Matt Turner.
As a result of figuring out their poor social positioning in the house, the outsiders, most notably Joseph and Kyle, of the major alliances existing on Week 3 formed a strong coalition to combat the power structures that threatened their survival in the game. The alliance faced major success in quickly dismantling their rival alliances, Girls Girls and Old Skool, and managing to evict their enemies for four consecutive weeks before they turned on each other.
The Leftovers is one of the most successful alliances in the history of Big Brother, getting all members to the final 9 (with the other two houseguests being Alyssa and Terrance). The alliance controlled the outcome for 11 of the 14 HOHs and won 14 out of 16 POVs.
Coincidentally, the final four consisted of Brittany, Turner, Monte and Taylor, where Brittany and Turner placed fourth and third respectively, Monte became the runner-up and Taylor was crowned the winner.

History[]
Cause of Formation[]
After Nicole Layog & Taylor were picked to play in the veto competition, Nicole needed to throw the competition since she wanted Taylor backdoored. However, Nicole got emotional since since throwing went against what she believed in. Taylor tried to console her, but Nicole seemed to misunderstand Taylor's point, Nicole took the information to Daniel Durston, causing him to berate Taylor in a major fight.
After Michael & Brittany won the veto, a replacement nominee was needed. After HOH Turner and his allies realized that Ameerah was a bigger threat to their game, they decided to go against the majority of the house and chose to make her the new target. After recruiting the veto winners, along with Taylor, the alliance officially formed. At the veto meeting, Ameerah was put on the block next to her bestie, Terrance Higgins.
The alliance successfully backdoored Ameerah by a vote of 7-4 with Daniel throwing a sympathy vote to Terrance.
Domination[]
In Week 4, Monte won HOH and nominated Alyssa Snider and Indy Santos since they were outside of the alliance, but were not his targets; He instead planned to backdoor Nicole. After Kyle and Daniel won the veto, Daniel initially did not want to use it to keep his number one ally off the block. Kyle wanted to use the veto despite it going against his alliance since his showmance Alyssa was nominated. The alliance instead made the new target Alyssa to keep her from impacting his game.
After Nicole and Daniel went to talk to Monte, Nicole thought that Monte was lying when he did not want the veto used. This led to Daniel using the veto, saving the nominees, and Nicole and Taylor were the replacement. Taylor was frustrated by the change of plans. Nicole was sent home by a vote of 9-1, with Daniel voting to keep her.
In week 5, Michael won HOH. He planned to backdoor Daniel. After Turner, Joseph and Monte proposed going up as potential pawns, and Michael did accordingly. Nominating the besties Monte, Joseph and Terrance, in case the backdoor plan didn't work, Michael wanted to take out a big threat. After Michael won the veto, he chose to backdoor Daniel, who was voted out 8-1, with Terrance choosing to save him.
The Festie-Bestie twist officially ended after Daniel's eviction.
Uncertain Future[]
After Taylor won HOH in Week 6, a fake alliance called The Five Swatters contained Kyle & Joseph to cover the alliance. Taylor nominated Indy & Terrance, with Terrance being the target. However, Monte & Joseph convinced Taylor that Indy was a bigger competition threat, the target shifted. After Kyle won the veto and Alyssa stole a trip to London from Taylor when she promised her safety, Taylor wanted to change the target to Alyssa. Regardless, Kyle didn't put his showmance in danger and didn't use the veto, upsetting some members. After this, Indy was evicted by a vote of 7-1 and Michael chose to keep her.
Split House & Split Goals[]
After the split house twist broke the house in two, The Big Brochella side of the house took out Jasmine Davis with Michael winning the HOH and Brittany winning the veto, with Monte sitting next to Jasmine on eviction night. She was evicted unanimously, keeping the alliance's domination intact. At Dyre Fest, Terrance won the HOH, leaving an uncertain future for the showmance and alliance. After Kyle exposed the alliance to Terrance & Alyssa, Terrance nominated Joseph & Turner. After Terrance won the veto, Kyle convinced Terrance that Joseph was too loyal to the alliance to be worth keeping for his game and painted Taylor & Monte as bigger threats. After using the veto on Turner and nominating Kyle at the veto meeting, Joseph tried to save himself, but to no avail since he was too loyal. Kyle officially abandoned his alliance, and instead made a new alliance with everyone from Dyre Fest except Joseph. Joseph was voted out 2-0 by Alyssa & Turner.
The split house twist ended after just one week, and the groups would reunite inside the house.
Downfall[]
The alliance officially collapsed after Turner won HOH in Week 8 and betrayed the original alliance by nominating Brittany & Taylor and planned to backdoor Michael. The Dyre Fest alliance was able to pull in Monte after Joseph told the houseguests at Dyre Fest that the remaining houseguests inside Brochella were working together before Brochella pulled Monte into a final four deal.
Victory[]
Despite the dissolution of the Leftovers, Taylor would manage to make her way to the final 3 and convince Final HOH Monte to evict Turner over her. Taylor, after proving herself to the jury to be a strong social player and the underdog of the season, would win the game over Monte in an 8-1 jury vote.
