The Formation is an alliance on Celebrity Big Brother 3 (US), that was created in the first few days to the start of the season. The alliance consist of Carson Kressley, Cynthia Bailey, Mirai Nagasu, Shanna Moakler, Teddi Mellencamp, and Todrick Hall.

History

The Formation alliance was created after Mirai Nagasu went up to Cynthia Bailey and asked if she was aligned with anyone in the house. Despite already being in the Girls & Gays alliance, Cynthia spilled the beans, which later helped create the new bigger alliance by bringing in Mirai and Teddi Mellencamp.

Miesha Tate won the first Head of Household (HOH) of the season with a target of Teddi. Miesha revealed the newly created Athlete alliance to Mirai and that her target was Teddi. Mirai then went to Teddi to alert her about Miesha's target. Teddi then went to Todrick Hall about the news and Todrick circled back to Miesha stating that Mirari is going around the house stating what she had told her. Miesha then switches the target to Mirai. During this time, Todrick and Miesha's loyalty grew stronger, which led Toderick to deflect on the alliance. Shanna Moakler became the second deflector to the alliance, after pleading to Miesha about not being a target. On Eviction night, Teddi became the replacement nominee and was voted out of the house, with the vote of 5-3, with only Carson Kressley and Cynthia, the only two members of the alliance to vote to keep Teddi in the house.

By the following nomination ceremony, Chris Kirkpatrick nominated Mirai, due to the lack of game talk between the two. Mirai became the second houseguest to be evicted, by a vote of 7-0. Carson and Cynthia then became the last two members of the failed alliance, after voting with the house to evict Mirai.
