The Butchers is a sub-alliance formed within the larger The Slaughterhouse alliance on Big Brother 23 (US). It was created during the first week of the season. The alliance consists of Christian Birkenberger, Derek Frazier, Frenchie French, Kyland Young, and Xavier Prather. As a smaller, more exclusive group within The Slaughterhouse, The Butchers was intended to be a tighter-knit alliance of what Frenchie perceived as the biggest threats in the game.

History

In Week 1, Frenchie French helped form an 8-person alliance called The Slaughterhouse. He also wanted to solidify his safety in the game by creating a sub-alliance within the Slaughterhouse, which resulted in him and his perceived biggest threats in the game aligning to create The Butchers. The members of The Butchers alliance alongside Frenchie were Christian Birkenberger, Derek Frazier, Kyland Young, and Xavier Prather.

Unfortunately for Frenchie, this alliance didn't work out the way he planned, as no one in The Butchers actually trusted him since he was making deals with almost everyone in the house at the time. This resulted in members of the alliance telling other houseguests about Frenchie creating yet another alliance, making Frenchie a house target going into Week 2.

Ultimately, in Week 2, Kyland Young won HOH and put Frenchie on the block since he had become a house target, effectively ending The Butchers alliance.
