A member of Team Destiny, Tera immediately found herself on the outs, as she struggled to find power in the house. She became close with fellow older houseguests Tina Thistle and Kiefer Collison. She and Tina became possible swing votes for their alliance, The Oddballs, and rivaling alliance, The Sunsetters. Tera made it very obvious that she wanted to target Jedson Tavernier and Tychon Carter-Newman, which landed her on the block week after week. After Beth Bieda won Head of Household in Week 6, she was the pawn next to competitive threat and ally Rohan Kapoor, and later Victoria Woghiren, which led to a big fight between the two of them. In the following week, she won the Power of Veto to save herself but her closest ally Tina was evicted after The Sauce decided to reverse their backdoor plans to evict Kiefer. Tera won HOH in Week 8 and managed to evict Jedson despite him winning the Power of Veto. Shortly after however, Tera would be evicted unanimously after Tychon nominated her during the Fake Double Eviction. Luckily for her, she won her way back into the house after beating fellow evictee Jedson in the Battle Back Competition. Tera was seen as a threat to win the game, as the jury respected her as an underdog. She won the Final 4 POV and evicted jury threat Kiefer. At Final 3, Tera was in a must-win situation with power duo Tychon and Breydon White. Unfortunately for her, she failed to win either part of the Final Head of Household competition and was evicted by Tychon once again. She placed third and became the final member of the jury.

This free-spirited married mom of two is ready to show women and moms everywhere that it is never too late to follow her dreams to become the next BBCAN winner.
Name: Tera Gillen-Petrozzi Age: 37 Pronouns: Her/She Zodiac: Virgo Hometown: LaSalle, Ontario Occupation: Mom/Spin Instructor Relationship Status: Married with children What is your strategy going into the house?
If the houseguests think I’m a super positive, vertically-challenged-mom-having a mid-life crisis, perfect! The less threatening I appear, the easier it will be to walk away with the cash.
Why do you think you were selected to be on BBCAN9?
I have a big personality and the determination of a bull. I’m not afraid to go after what I want and I genuinely try to make the best of any situation. I think after this year Canada deserves some good vibes, and the reminder that it’s never too late to go after your dreams.
What part of the Big Brother Canada experience do you think will be the hardest for you?
Missing my kids and slop! It looks terrible and I turn into an absolute monster when I’m hangry.
How do you want people to remember you as a player on BBCAN?
As the first mom and oldest houseguest to ever win, duh!
