Once all 14 houseguests entered the Big Brother house for the summer, Arisa Cox announced that this year would have the heaven vs hell twist. All the houseguests were told to grab a goblet. However, the houseguests didn't know that the person with a different colored goblet would be tasked with choosing who would be in heaven and in hell. Andrew was the one who had the different colored goblet and he chose Alejandra Martinez, Johnny Mulder, Kaela Grant, Maddy Poplett, Paras Atashnak, William Kenny, and Rozina Yaqub to go to hell. The other houseguests were safe for the week and wouldn't compete at the first competition. Johnny managed to win the first head of household competition. Johnny tried to play his head of household safe because he didn't want to get blood on his hands. He nominated Ali and Rozina. At the Veto competition, Johnny managed to pull off another win. At the Veto ceremony, he kept his nominations intact leaving Rozina and Ali in danger of eviction. At the first live eviction, Rozina was voted out unanimously and became the first person evicted from the house.
After Rozina's eviction, Arisa then revealed another twist which had two houseguests of Canada's choice to enter the house and they were not allowed to tell the other houseguests they had been voted in. Following the Gate Crashers' entry to the house they were given immunity and weren't allowed to play in this HOH, with it later being revealed that they also weren't allowed to vote during the eviction. The houseguests had to answer a series of questions based on the survey they took earlier. Ryan managed to win the competition. Ryan nominated Hamza and Andrew, but he wanted to backdoor Olivia Riemer. He tried to make the players picked throw the competition, but many didn't agree to it. Erica managed to pull off the veto win. At the Veto ceremony, Erica decided not to use the Veto. At the second live eviction of the season, Andrew was evicted in a unanimous vote.
Following Andrew's eviction, the houseguests randomly drew for partners to play in the next Head of Household competition. Erica did not draw a partner and was safe for the week. Veronica Doherty and Hamza managed to pull off the win. The winning duo had to agree on who would be HOH for the week and they chose Hamza. At the nomination ceremony, Hamza decided to target Olivia for being a strategic threat, and Jesse for being a social and physical threat. At an intense Veto competition, Hamza managed to win the Veto securing him all of the power for the week. Hamza pondered saving Olivia from eviction and putting up Derek Kesseler because Derek was Jesse's closest ally. In the end, Hamza decided not to use the Power of Veto. At the live eviction, Jesse was evicted in a vote of 9-2 only receiving the votes of Veronica Doherty and Derek.
Following Jesse's eviction, Erica won Head of Household after coming closest to the number in the tiebreaker round. At the nomination ceremony, she decided to put up Maddy Poplett and Merron. She targeted Maddy for the week. At the Veto competition, Erica managed to win her second POV despite trying to throw the competition. Originally, she was not going to use the veto, however, after being influenced by others she decided to use the veto on Maddy and backdoor Veronica. Despite Veronica's campaigning, she was sent home in a 9-1 vote only receiving the vote of her close friend William Kenny.
Following Veronica's eviction, Arisa announced that it would be a double eviction night. At the Head of Household competition, Olivia managed to pull off her first win of the season. She wanted to backdoor a big threat so she nominated two pawns Merron and Ryan. At the Veto competition, Ryan managed to pull off the Veto competition win. He decided to use the Veto to save himself. Olivia decided to nominate Hamza in Ryan's place for being a physical threat. At the second live eviction of the night, Hamza was sent home in an 8-1 vote only receiving the vote of his close ally Erica.
Following Hamza's eviction, Erica won her second HOH and fourth competition of the season. She decided to follow Olivia's footsteps and nominated Merron and Ryan for eviction once again, this time with the intention of evicting Merron. Johnny then won his second Veto of the season. After being influenced by others, he wanted to make a big move by using the veto on Merron and sending Derek or Kaela on the block. However, Erica stated that Maddy would be the replacement nominee if he used it so Johnny decided not to use the veto. At the live eviction, Merron was evicted in a 5-3 vote receiving the votes of his close friends Derek and Kaela and the vote of Alejandra because of her incident with Ryan.
Following Merron's eviction, the houseguests competed in the "Buttoned Up" endurance competition. Kaela won her first competition of the season after making a deal with Olivia. She decided to nominate Ryan as her target for his third time this season and Will as a pawn. The houseguests then competed in the veto competition. The houseguests played three rounds in the veto competition it ultimately came down to Ryan and Johnny. Johnny won his third veto of the season. At the veto ceremony, Johnny wanted to use the veto on his close friend, Will, however, he was worried another one of his close allies could be the replacement nominee. Ultimately, Johnny decided not to use the veto. At the live eviction, Arisa announced that Canada decided to use the save twist to save Ryan. Kaela then had to pick a replacement nominee. She chose Erica for her challenge dominance. At the eviction, Erica was evicted by a vote of 5-2 receiving the votes of her friend Johnny, and Ryan's vote because he perceived Will as a social threat.
Following Erica's eviction, The houseguests competed in the Before or After competition. It came down to a tiebreaker round and Derek won his first competition of the season. Derek put up Ryan because he and Kaela did not have a strong relationship with him. He remained a backup target in case Johnny won the vote. He nominated Johnny for trying to take out Kaela and Derek in previous weeks. He was also targeted for lying about voting to evict Will and competition dominance. Derek then won the POV. At the veto ceremony, he decided to keep his nominations in place. At the live eviction, Ryan was voted out unanimously.
Following Ryan's eviction, the houseguests competed in an endurance competition. After two and a half grueling hours Johnny managed to win his second HOH of the season. He targeted the showmance "Daela" but his main target was Derek. At the nomination ceremony, he did just that and nominated Derek and Kaela. At the veto competition, Derek managed to win his second POV of the season. Everybody was sure Derek would use it on himself so both sides of the house pushed for one of the others to be nominated in order to keep Kaela to go after Johnny. At the veto ceremony, Derek used it on himself, and Johnny decided to nominate Alejandra. At the live eviction, Alejandra was blindsided in a 4-1 vote only receiving the vote of her friend Olivia.
Round 2 (Triple Eviction)
Following Alejandra's eviction, Arisa announced that it would be a triple eviction night. The houseguests competed in a competition that asked who said the speech Arisa stated. After only two rounds, Derek earned his second HOH of the season. He nominated Olivia and Johnny because they were after him and Kaela and they made a deal with Will, Maddy, and Paras. However, Maddy had to be nominated as a pawn. At the veto competition, Kaela won her second POV of the season. She decided to leave the nominations in place. At the second eviction of the night, Maddy received all 3 votes to save leaving Johnny and Olivia evicted.
Following Olivia and Johnny's eviction, Kaela won her second HOH of the season. Her goal was to not nominate the person who would use the veto and then force her to put up Derek. Will made the deal and then Kaela nominated Maddy and Paras. She targeted Maddy for her mental dominance. At the veto competition, Kaela won after a difficult endurance competition. At the veto ceremony, she decided not to use the veto to secure herself and her showmance a spot in the Final Four. At the live eviction, Maddy was sent home in a unanimous 2-0 vote.
Following Maddy's eviction, the houseguests competed in a crucial competition to make it to the end. It was a mental competition and Paras won after answering all the questions correctly in a row. She wanted to bring her friend, William to the Final Three so she decided to nominate Derek and Kaela. At the final veto competition of the summer, Kaela won the veto. At the veto ceremony, she decided to use the veto on herself. She then casted the sole vote to evict William.
Following William's eviction, the houseguests competed in Part 1 of the final HOH. In a close battle, Paras managed to win and advanced to Part 3. At Part 2, Kaela won by beating Derek by only 3 minutes. At the third and final part, Paras beat Kaela by one point. Paras then casted the sole vote to evict Derek.
