When the first four house-guests, Mario Marconi, Lisa Appleton, Luke Marsden, and Stephanie, entered the house, Big Brother called them into the Diary Room for a secret mission. While Mario and Lisa were a genuine couple, Big Brother told them that Mario and Stephanie must pretend to be a couple, despite the 22 year age gap. If they succeeded, the other house-guests are put up as nominees for the public vote. However, they failed and all four were nominated for the public vote, causing Stephanie to be evicted Week 1.
Stephanie first appeared on TV as a 13-year-old on Popstars: The Rivals. However, when she reached the final 25 contestants, producers discovered she had lied about her age after claiming that she was 16 and she was forced to leave the show and missed out on the opportunity to become a member of Girls Aloud.
She now sings and plays guitar in a band called the Kinky Minks but is focusing more on her studies. A confessed germophobe, she can’t touch door handles for fear of catching germs. She wants to do Big Brother to "earn a quick buck and invest it", and hopes to be the most famous contestant ever. [1]
