Retrieved from pep.ph Raised in Quezon City by her mom, Sofia grew up in a loving household, staying close to both parents even after they separated—her dad is based in Singapore and works in IT, while her mom has always been her partner in crime. They’re so close they call each other “mare,” often bonding over kitchen experiments and arcade hangouts. Sofia started out young, appearing in commercials before landing roles in ABS-CBN’s Wansapanataym and And I Love You So, playing the young Julia Barretto. Even then, her expressive eyes and natural screen presence stood out. This year, Sofia celebrates 10 years with GMA Network. Now one of Sparkle’s brightest young stars, she’s grown up in front of the camera, proving herself again and again as a bankable lead with depth and charisma. But it’s not just showbiz she excels in. Sofia graduated from UST Angelicum College in 2025 with honors, ranking 14th among over 300 students and 4th in the ABM strand. Today, she continues her academic journey at the University of Santo Tomas, where she’s a Communication Arts freshman.
