Shoichi Oka was an Official Housemate on the third batch of Pinoy Big Brother 8.
On the batch's live Welcome Night, Shoichi was selected to become an Official Housemate over Batit Espiritu.

 Responsableng Rising Boy of Japan Shoichi was a Japanese-Filipino boy from Japan. He was born in the Philippines and was taken cared of his grandparents for a year. When he 3 years old when he moved to Japan with his parents. Even though he grew up in Japan, Shoichi can fluently speak Filipino because he used to watch Filipino movies and TV series. His mother was a former school teacher in Japan but now a housekeeper while his father was a former businessman but since had stayed home after being sick. Because of that, Shoichi decided to work for a part-time job in a daycare center. Shoichi was moved to be raised in Japan but his heart still remained in the Philippine soil. He joined the Star Hunt auditions because he wanted to become a famous celebrity. |
