Sharon Lynn Obermueller was a houseguest on Big Brother 9 (US).
When she entered the house, Sharon was mortified to see her ex-boyfriend Jacob Heald. Worse yet, Jacob was her soulmate at the start of the game. Jacob tried to mend fences with Sharon, but to no avail. Jacob's presence ultimately proved to be a major hinderance, as he accused Parker Somerville of being a snake, who happened to possess the sole power to evict one couple alongside his partner Jen DiTurno after they won the Power Couple competition. Sharon attempted to shift the target onto Ryan Quicksall by trying to convince Parker that Ryan was the one who called him a snake, although this was for naught as Jen revealed to Parker that Ryan was her boyfriend in order to keep him safe. Despite being well liked by her fellow housemates, Parker and Jen decided to evict Sharon alongside Jacob due to Jacob's comments about Parker. Luckily for Sharon, she was given an unexpected second chance after Joshuah Welch selected her to replace his former partner Neil Garcia after he decided to walk the game. Upon reentry, Sharon achieved success alongside Josh, winning the Power of Veto in Week 2 and Head of Household in Week 3. After the couples split, Sharon aligned with Josh, Chelsia Hart, and James Zinkand. Unfortunately for Sharon, her alliance would crumble after Team Christ took control of the game beginning in Week 6. As a result, Sharon became a habitual pawn for the remainder of her time in the house, although she managed to outlast all her allies due to her likability. Against all odds, Sharon was able to reach the final four, but after narrowly losing a very controversial HOH competition, Sharon was nominated alongside Sheila Kennedy. After losing the Power of Veto, she ultimately placed 4th and became the sixth member of the jury after Adam Jasinski cast the sole vote to evict her.
