Shanaia is relatively new in the music industry. She is a singer and a signed Rise Artist.
Her love for performing was greatly influenced by her mom because her mom has a performing arts school in Canada.
In Canada, she had a Pinoy Pop Girl group.
In 2016 she had a vacation in the Philippines (first time in Manila), she tried VTR go-sees and she landed the role in a Maggi commercial with Ian Veneracion. On her first paycheck she bought a dog and named the dog, “Maggi”.
At age 14, in 2017 she went back to the Philippines to try her luck and pursue a career as an actor. Started her career in GMA but since she doesn’t speak any Tagalog at that time, nothing good came out of it.
Shanaia Gomez made her acting debut in a Click, Like, Share episode titled Swap with Belle Mariano.
Gomez later guest starred as Dominique Rossi in the second season of He's Into Her.
Later in 2022, Shanaia Gomez became one of the online hosts of The Next Idol PH, a companion show to Idol Philippines (season 2), along with the other season 1 contestants.
