At the beginning of the game, Scott found himself in the middle of a split house, but soon sided with Monte Massongill, and formed a tight bond with Alex Willett. After winning HOH during Week 3, he targeted the showmance from the other side of the house and became the first person of the season to successfully get their target evicted after Shane Chapman was sent home. Scott was soon targeted by the other side of the house due to his unsportsman-like behavior and was nominated and sent home by America in Week 5, placing ninth.
