Week 3[]
Starting in Week 3, the alliance met up occasionally in the HOH room to discuss their plans and targets. Liz and Julia switched out continuously throughout the week, where they then became informed of everything occurring. Seeing as the High Rollers had removed Audrey from their group due to her constant lying and rumors originating from her, The Sixth Sense decided to use Audrey as a weapon and shield to go against them. Audrey has since then become inducted into a sub alliance known as The Sleeper Cell consisting of Austin, Clay, Shelli, Vanessa, and herself. As members continued to keep The Sixth Sense a secret, they maintained to work on relationships to gather information from the opposing the High Rollers as their mindset on getting them out continued to grow each day. It eventually led to Da'Vonne's downfall, and she became evicted the week prior. Austin and Vanessa were then crowned the two new HOH's and agreed to spare Audrey and backdoor someone else on the opposing side. While the rest of the house was led to believe that Audrey was the target, the group settled on Jeff being the new target seeing as he was playing multiple sides of the house and it eventually became found out he wanted Shelli gone so he could work with Clay. The same scenario happened with Austin and Liz where Jeff wanted Austin gone before the jury stage so he could bring in Liz. He was nicknamed the "male Audrey" by the Sixth Sense. With Austin becoming dethroned, James and John stayed on the block. After John managed to win the power of veto, Vanessa was due to name a replacement nominee. The alliance agreed that it was the perfect time to send Jeff home. However, they struggled to find a reason to put him up without exposing their alliance in the process. Eventually, they staged a fight, where they managed to get Jeff to throw Vanessa, Austin, and Shelli under the bus in front of the whole house, giving them a valid reason to backdoor him. On Day 29, Jeff became evicted from the house.
Week 4[]
On the fourth week, Liz and Shelli managed to win HOH. The group once again agreed that they needed to keep Audrey around so she could go after the others and so the other side would still target Audrey before them. Due to Jason's knowledge that he received from Da'Vonne and constant talk about the Twin Twist, the group feared he would go after Liz, thus making him the target for the week. After Vanessa won the PoV, she became informed that Audrey was throwing her under the bus and accusing her of making a final two deal with Steve. Eventually, this got back to Shelli who took it as Audrey trying to turn the Sleeper Cell against each other. Fed up with Audrey's antics, the group decided it was best for Audrey to become sent home. During the week, Austin decided to make a deal with Jason without telling the alliance. He exposed the twin twist and made it clear he wanted Julia evicted once she entered the game to have Liz to himself. Eventually, this information got back to Vanessa and Shelli, and they both agreed they couldn't trust Austin going forward. On Day 36, Audrey became evicted from the house.
Week 5[]
During the fifth week, Vanessa won her second HoH alongside Jackie. Upon winning, Vanessa immediately made it known she did not want to stay as HoH. She and Jackie agreed on a plan to have Vanessa become dethroned so Jackie could remain the sole HoH. With this plan also game a deal between the two where they vowed not to backdoor or target each other. Jackie originally wanted Liz as the target due to the fact that her sister would begin playing the following week whereas Vanessa saw it as the perfect opportunity to get rid of Austin since he lied about the deal he made with Jason and exposing the twins. The two eventually settled on Austin and managed to get six others: Jason, Meg, James, Clay, Shelli and Becky to agree to the plan and the eight then established a top eight deal known as Dark Moon, excluding John, Austin, Liz, Julia, and Steve. Jackie decided to put up Liz and James, where James agreed to throw the BoB for Jackie to remain HoH. Vanessa put up Clay and Becky to guarantee them winning and have them be both safe for the week. However, the plan derailed after Liz managed to win the BoB by herself, thus dethroning Jackie, having Vanessa as the sole HoH and Clay and Becky remaining as nominees. Due to Liz's guaranteed safety for the week, the twins accomplished their mission to survive the first five evictions. As a result, Julia officially entered the game as an individual houseguest at the next live eviction.
Even with Jackie's dethronement, the house agreed to target Austin still. Vanessa felt she has caught him in too many lies and was unable to work with him. As the POV competition grew near, the houseguests had to choose the players that would participate per Big Brother's standard rules. Vanessa eventually drew a houseguest choice and chose Shelli. Speculation ensued by the Sixth Sense that the others were not happy with this decision due to their supposed negative facial expressions. Ultimately Clay managed to win the power of veto, where the alliance again was under the impression Jason, Jackie, James, and Meg were not pleased. Shelli and Vanessa grew suspicions that the others planned to win the veto, leave nominations the same and evict Clay. Upon this speculation, they also realized Austin was a number despite his radical decisions. Once Vanessa told Liz about Austin throwing Julia under the bus, they agreed to confront Austin about his lies (including voting for Audrey to stay). Eventually, Austin was outed, and the alliance decided to give him another shot as long as he would stop making side deals that would put the coalition in jeopardy as well as lie to their faces. Vanessa struggled with the decision to save Austin or to fulfill Dark Moon's wishes and backdoor him after giving them her word. Eventually, Clay and Shelli managed to convince Vanessa that Austin was a number for them that would never put them up over the other side. Clay and Shelli told Vanessa that Dark Moon would not last since the three of them were on the low end of the totem pole and had she backdoored Austin the following targets would be Steve, Liz, and Julia who were already essential numbers on their side. The group agreed to spare Austin and struggled to target either Jackie or Jason. Eventually, they felt Jason was the more strategic threat, calling him the "glue" of the other side and Vanessa had already made a deal with Jackie that she would not backdoor her. The trio managed to get Liz, Steve, Julia, Austin, Becky and John onboard to backdoor Jason. On Day 43, Jason became evicted.
Week 6[]
Following Jason's eviction, it became revealed that the Battle of the Block would officially end. Therefore only one HOH would be crowned every week for the rest of the season. James and Shelli were the last remaining two in the HoH competition, and Shelli vowed for a deal that would protect her and Clay for the week if she were to throw the competition to him. James agreed, and he was crowned the new HoH, making it the first time since Week 1 that the Sixth Sense was not in power. Following his win, Austin, Liz, Julia, and Vanessa were not happy that Shelli made a deal with James that would protect only herself and Clay. Also, the other side of the house had begun to speculate if there was a majority alliance, consisting of the twins, Austin, Vanessa, and Clelli. As speculation about James' nominations grew, he told several people that he was going to split up a power couple that week. Many concluded that it would be Clay and Shelli. Upon hearing the news, Clay and Shelli began to scramble because they felt everyone was blaming them for Jason's eviction. They began to throw Liz, Julia, and Austin under the bus to James to try to keep themselves safe. It eventually got back to Austin and the twins, and they all agreed to support James in his decision to nominate Clay and Shelli, feeling betrayed. The following day, James nominated Clay and Shelli for eviction and explained he had to go back on his word because of their involvement in Jason's eviction. After the nomination ceremony, Shelli made it clear to Vanessa that she was done with the Sixth Sense alliance and blamed Austin for them going up on the block. She also made it clear that she regretted having a hand in saving Austin and preferred Jason to still be in the house. After hearing the news about turning on the alliance, Vanessa felt betrayed by Shelli and later told James she was onboard to split up Clay and Shelli. James informed Vanessa that his plan was for nominations to stay the same to ensure that Shelli leaves. Vanessa, Liz, Julia, and Austin later agreed that Clay and Shelli were disloyal and untrustworthy and felt better if one of them left the house.
Week 7[]
Becky won Head of Household, planning to keep rival alliance, The Goblins, safe and targeted Scamper Squad. Becky put up Shelli, an affiliate of the alliance and Vanessa, one of the key members of the alliance. The alliance sided with Vanessa and agreed it was best for their game to get Shelli out instead of Vanessa. The Goblins agreed with each other that keeping Vanessa was the better option because they saw Vanessa as too easy of a target. The plan for this week was a success as Shelli was evicted by a vote of 8-0.
Week 8[]
The Scamper Squad finally regained control of the house after two weeks of The Goblins in power. Liz won Head of Household and Vanessa suggested to her targeting Becky. The alliance, however, lost trust in Vanessa after Becky revealed to the alliance that Vanessa was part of the plan to have James throw the Battle of the Block so that he and Liz would remain on the block with Austin becoming backdoored. The Scamper Squad questioned if they should target Vanessa instead of Becky. The alliance eventually came to a consensus that they had to target Becky's closest ally, John, instead of Vanessa after realizing that Vanessa may expose the alliance if she were to be nominated. However, plans changed once again as Vanessa told them that John is a number for them as he is closely aligned with Steve, one of their alliance members and when Meg informed them that John is not targeting Austin and the twins, he is targeting Vanessa. They decided that they still couldn't target Vanessa as she may expose the alliance but agreed to target Becky instead of John. They agreed that Vanessa couldn't be trusted and the alliance members decided that they had to pretend that they still wanted to work with her when in reality, they secretly kicked her out of the alliance due to her latest antics.
Week 9[]
Austin won the Head of household; however, he later regretted winning it because he was aligned with everybody and had to betray two of them. He wanted to target Vanessa because of her lies and antiques. At the nomination ceremony, he nominated Steve and John with Vanessa as a backdoor target. His plan was foiled when Vanessa won the veto competition. After Vanessa found out that Steve was okay with Austin backdooring her, she called him out at the veto ceremony and kept the nominations the same. John tried to convince Vanessa, Meg, and James to save him. However, his campaigning failed as he became evicted unanimously.
Week 10[]
The HouseGuests and four jurors competed in the Head of Household competition. The last juror standing would reenter the game, and the final HouseGuest standing would become the new Head of Household. John won the jury competition, so he returned to the game and Vanessa was the last HouseGuest standing, so she became the new Head of Household. Austin, Julia, and Liz wanted to get rid of John because they knew he was after them. However, they did not see that he aligned with Steve and Vanessa. Vanessa gave James and Meg and opportunity to convince her to nominate Austin and the twins, but they did not give her any information, so at the nomination ceremony, she put James and Meg up with James as her target. However, James ended up winning the Power of Veto competition, so Meg became the new target. Vanessa asked Julia if she would be okay with going up in James' place as a pawn to ensure Meg's eviction and weaken James. Austin and the twins urged Vanessa to nominate and evict John, unaware of her secret alliance with him. At the Veto Meeting, James used the Veto on himself, and Vanessa nominated Julia in his place. James and Meg attempted to rally Steve and John onto their side to vote Julia out. Steve and John became conflicted, recognizing the valuable opportunity to break up Austin and the twins, but at the same time, also wanting to appease Vanessa. At the live eviction ceremony, Steve and John ultimately decided to keep Julia and Meg was evicted by a vote of 4-1, with James voting to evict Julia. Liz won the next head of household competition. She nominated James and John for eviction. Julia won the Power of Veto and chose not to use it, keeping her sister's nominations intact. At the live second eviction ceremony, James was evicted by a unanimous 3-0 vote, becoming the 5th member of the Jury.
Week 11[]
After realizing only the two power trios remained, Steve sided entirely with John and went after Austin and the twins. To do so, winning the upcoming Head of Household was imperative. Steve defeated John in the final round to become a two-time HoH after John threw the competition. Now in power, John and Steve debated which Austwin to leave off of the block to ensure all three of them would be safe. They also needed to decide which one of the trio would be easiest to beat in the Final Four to ensure they make the Final Three. Ultimately, they decided to leave Julia off the block and at the nomination ceremony, Steve nominated Austin and Liz, with Austin and Liz as the targets and Julia as a replacement nominee. John and Steve needed to prevent Julia from winning the Power of Veto to keep their final three deal intact. While Austin and the twins knew to save them, Julia needed the Power of Veto to keep all three of them safe and force Steve to put up either John or Vanessa in Liz's place. During the competition, Vanessa tricked Julia into challenging Austin so she would not win the veto. It worked as Austin eventually won the veto competition. At the nomination ceremony, he used the veto on himself, so Steve named Julia as the replacement nominee. The twins asked for Julia to be evicted, knowing that Liz would fare better in future competitions. However, John and Vanessa considered taking out Liz instead due to her being the tie between Austin and Julia, and because she is better at competitions. However, at the live eviction, John and Vanessa honored the twins' wishes, and a 3-0 vote evicted Julia from the house.
Week 12[]
Vanessa won her fourth Head of Household competition. Hoping to gain information from Steve to give her reason to put Austin and Liz back on the block, Vanessa asked him why she should keep him and got no information, so at the nomination ceremony, she nominated John and Steve, with John as the target. However, John foiled Vanessa’s plan by winning the veto, so Steve became the new target. At the nomination ceremony, John used the veto on himself. Since Liz was already on the block, Vanessa put Austin on the block. At the live eviction ceremony, after John cast his vote, to evict Austin and Liz cast hers to evict Steve Vanessa cast the tie-breaking vote to send Austin to the jury, and he became the fourteenth HouseGuest evicted from the house, becoming the seventh jury member. Austin angrily told Vanessa that she would not win. At the next Head of Household competition, Steve defeated John to become the Head of Household for the third time. At the final nomination ceremony, he nominated John and Vanessa for eviction with Vanessa as his target. However, Vanessa won the final veto competition. At the live eviction ceremony, Vanessa used the veto on herself, so by default, Liz became nominated. Vanessa then cast her vote to evict John, and he became the eighth member of the Jury.
Week 13[]
Steve, Liz, and Vanessa competed in the first part of the final Head of Household competition. Steve fell first. Liz dropped after Vanessa convinced her that she'd be more likely to beat Steve in Part 2, and Vanessa won Part 1. Steve won part 2. Both he and Vanessa competed in Part 3 which Steve won, so he became the final Head of Household. He then cast the sole vote to evict Vanessa. After Vanessa's eviction, the nine jurors asked Steve and Liz questions or made statements to them. Steve became accused of floating throughout the game while Liz became accused of letting Austin and Vanessa make her decisions for her. Steve told the jury that he did not float and was clearly able to state and explain all of his moves while Liz constantly brought up the fact that she was a huge target because of the twin twist and implied that Austin and Vanessa are the reasons she made it to the final two. Ultimately, Steve became the winner of Big Brother 17 receiving 6 of the nine jury votes while Liz became the runner-up receiving only three votes. Steve received votes from John, Shelli, all the goblins alliance jurors and goblins alliance affiliate Becky while Liz received votes from Austin, Vanessa, and Julia who were also apart of the sixth sense alliance. Shelli is the only member of The Sixth Sense not to vote for Liz to win.
