Samantha de Grenet was a housemate on Grande Fratello VIP 5.

Samantha entered the House on Day 89, and sparked controversy right away by getting into conflicts with fan favorites Stefania Orlando, Maria Teresa Ruta and with show columnist and former housemate Antonella Elia. After a very heated quarrel with the latter on Day 120, Samantha decided to change her ways and focus more on cultivating her friendships inside the House, not wanting her journey to be just about feuds. This caused her to slide under-the-radar and to gain the protection of the fanbase of Dayane Mello and Rosalinda Cannavò, that helped Samantha survive multiple public votes, much to the surprise of her housemates. Her game came to an end during the semifinal, on Day 166, when she had to face former enemy Stefania Orlando for a place in the finals. Stefania ended up winning the public vote and Samantha was eliminated, finishing in 6th place.

Retrieved and Translated from Mediaset Italian showgirl of noble origins. She began her modeling career at just fourteen and then launched herself into the world of television consolidating herself as a public figure between the 90s and the early 2000s. She has a long and varied career as a correspondent, host and competitor of reality shows such as La Talpa and The Island of the Famous. In 2012 she published her first book "Now I'm talking!", A collection of micro experiences on the mysterious world of children. At the age of 48 she discovered that she had a tumor, but she managed to overcome the difficult moment thanks to the love of her husband Luca Barbato and their son Brando. Now, however, she is charged more than ever and has declared that she will give the VIPs in the House a hard time.
