Frederick "Rico" Barrera was a housemate on Pinoy Big Brother 1.
Throughout his 3-week stay inside the house, aside from his looks, Rico became memorable for being the clumsiest housemate who almost got the house on fire after attempting to cook breakfast for his housemates. He was also memorable for being an emotional person who cried a lot during his moments in the confession room. Rico was automatically nominated for committing several grave violations, including jumping into the pool while wearing his lapel mic and accidentally triggering the fire alarm while trying to cook.
On Day 21, he received only 10% of the total public votes, over Franzen Fajardo who got 79% of votes and Racquel Reyes who got 11%. He eventually became the first person to leave the house and the first to leave in the whole series of Pinoy Big Brother.

Frederick "Rico" Barrera (born December 29, 1981) is a 23-year-old from Olongapo City, Philippines. He is an overseas worker who works in Japan as a singer in a bar.
