Batch 4 is the fourth batch to air in Pinoy Big Brother: Otso.
Background[]
This batch became notable for being the shortest batch, with only 6 weeks of duration, as well as having a more normal game format, and its psychological challenges. It is also the only batch to not have Camp Star Hunt as part of their gameplay.
In this batch, Akie Poblete, Argel Saycon, Kiara Takahashi, and Wealand Ferrer emerged as the Batch Big Four, with Kiara declared as the Batch Winner. Being the last batch before the return of the other Batch Big Fours for the Ultim8 Batch, they didn't exit the house. Instead, they welcomed the other batches in the house.
Batch 4 is represented by Team WAKA in the Ultim8 Batch with yellow as its batch color, and #Batch4theWin as its official codename.
Batch 4 Twists[]
- No Camp Star Hunt: For the first time this season, Camp Star Hunt didn't appear at all in this batch.
- No Housemate Selections: Since there's no Camp, there were no cross-overs nor housemate selections as all contestants in this batch entered as official housemates on the batch's live welcome.
- Full House: Since there's no Camp Star Hunt this season, the batch started with a complete set of 12 Housemates living in the Big Brother House.
- Back to Basics: No major twists had occurred in Batch 4.
- Shortened Duration: Batch 4's original 8-week duration was shortened to just 6 weeks to give way for the Ultim8 Batch.
