- In 2018, Perez competed on the 11th season of Worst Cooks in America. He beat out Melissa Peterman to win the season.
- Perez was offered a spot on Celebrity Big Brother 2 (US), but production later cut him from the cast.[1] In retaliation, he then leaked that Joey Lawrence was cast.[2] He also leaked that Todrick Hall was offered a spot and declined, although Todrick would later go on to play Celebrity Big Brother 3 (US).[3]
