Omarosé Onée "Omarosa" Manigault-Newman[2] was a houseguest on Celebrity Big Brother 1 (US) and a housemate on Big Brother Australia VIP 2.

Coming in as one of the biggest reality television villains, Omarosa found herself on the outs at the first eviction and nominated at the second nomination ceremony, but managed to escape eviction and get off the other's radar by using her social game and skills to manipulate the majority of the houseguests. She took out big targets such as Shannon Elizabeth and James Maslow. Throughout the season she talked about her time in the White House specifically her experiences with then-President Donald Trump. At the final 5, she was nominated, and when she failed to win the veto she was evicted in a unanimous 2-0 vote, placing 5th and becoming the seventh member of the jury.

You may know her by one name and one show, but there is more to this dynamic housemate than meets the eye.

Omarosa was nicknamed the ‘Queen of reality television’, after she shot into the limelight in 2004 on the first season of Donald Trump’s The Apprentice.

Outspoken with a take no prisoners mentality, Omarosa quickly became one of the biggest players on the show.

Clearly making a huge impression, Omarosa co-created and co-produced Ultimate Merger, a hit TV series for Trump Productions.

Donald and Omarosa in 2013.

Omarosa has over 20 years of experience as political advisor and worked previously in the Clinton White House.

In 2017 Donald Trump asked her to join his White House as the OPL Director of Communications.

As someone who has worked extremely hard to get to where she is and overcome many obstacles, Omarosa is no stranger to fighting her way to the very top, which she absolutely plans to do in Big Brother’s Hotel.

She knows life isn’t always fair but believes you should never let obstacles stop you from pressing forward.

‘She loves everything he does’

Omarosa is the author of The New York Times best seller, Unhinged - which recalls her time working for Trump - and is well versed in navigating the political landscape.

Her background is set to be a source of contention with fellow housemate - and Trump supporter - Caitlyn Jenner.

Caitlyn Jenner is one of 12 stars taking part in the show.

Speaking to Sunrise, on October 27, Omarosa told how Jenner “didn’t talk” to her during filming.

“She was running for the Governor of California while she was in the house, so I think she thought she was kind of playing to Donald Trump because she’s such a big Trump supporter,” she said.

“She loves everything he does and so she thought by being nasty to me, like he was nasty to me, that she would curry favour with him.”

Omarosa said Jenner even entered the house wearing a “red MAGA hat,” an act she described as “really sad”.

“She just kind of tried to separate me and isolate me, she tried to turn the girls against me. You’ll see in the episodes that come.”

Omarosa Manigault grew up in abject poverty, has earned four degrees, and she knows her worth.

Omarosa understands to succeed in Big Brother’s game you must be able to genuinely connect with people.

She grew up in abject poverty, has earned four degrees, and she knows her worth.

When asked about how she got to the White House, Omarosa simply says, “I’m exceptional. That kind of sums it up.”

Omarosa has chosen to play Big Brother VIP for Deaf Children Australia, which is a cause close to her heart.

When she was growing up, her brother started to lose his hearing and as part of his support during this time, her family learned sign language.

She is excited to support Deaf Children Australia as she is dedicated to raising awareness about the isolation that children can experience if they are unable to communicate.

Omarosa’s game strategy when entering the Hotel is to get a feel and understanding of all her Housemates, assess their skills and create a strategy from there[4]
