The Memory Wall is part of the Big Brother House. It consists of a section of wall containing photos of all the current House Guests. Below each picture is a slot containing that House Guest's key. When a House Guest is evicted, their picture changes from color to black and white.
Trivia
- The Memory Wall pictures are actually small video monitors, allowing the seamless transition to black and white.
- Occassionally, the monitors will show different pictures as part of a competition.
- The Memory Wall used in the current house has 14 spaces. Depending on the number of House Guests in a season, this can cause some quirks. Since Big Brother 9 had 16 houseguests, the pictures were not added until after the first couple was evicted. (Sharon did get a picture when she reentered the house following Neil's voluntary exit, with her picture replaced Neil's.).14 and 15 also had 16 houseguest but a different memory wall was used (4 rows of 4 pictures). Big Brother 10, 11 and 12 all had 13 houseguests, so the space in the middle was not used and was filled by the show's logo.
- Though the screens change color live, they are not shown doing this action until the next episode; however, this happens occasionally.
