In Italy he attended the Academy of Dramatic Arts "Silvio d'Amico". In 2000 he made his TV debut in an episode of Distretto di polizia, and in the cinema by participating in the film Al momento giusto by Giorgio Panariello and Gaia Gorrini. In 2001 he had a small role in the film Le fate ignoranti by Ferzan Özpetek, he appeared in an episode of the American series Sex and the City and in two episodes of the soap opera Così gira il mondo. During his career, he took part in several Italian fiction series, Don Matteo, Carabinieri and Tutti pazzi per amore, but also in several international titles such as Beautiful. In 2011 he took part in the film To Rome with Love directed by Woody Allen and is busy with the fiction Sposami. On TV he hosts Effetto sabato (2008), on Rai 1, and is also a correspondent for Ogni mattina (2020/2021), on TV8. In 2023 he was one of the three judges of the show Cortesie per gli ospiti on Real Time. Last year he made his directorial debut with the film Il cacio con le pere. He has a daughter, Bianca, born in 2009 from a previous relationship. Today he has temporarily put acting aside and runs a small agriturismo in Tuscany with his partner.[1] |
