Liam Andrew McGough was a finalist on Big Brother 8 (UK).
Liam became one of the most high-profile housemates after being awarded a surprise £100,000 early in the series. A likable, down-to-earth lad, he got on with most housemates and often stayed out of major conflicts, leading him to become a finalist. On finale night, his "nice guy" personality wasn't enough and he was evicted just shy of being in the final two, placing 3rd.
Biography[]
This laid back boy-next-door says that his friends would describe him as, "a flipping ladies man." However, Liam sees himself as a slightly calmer character and says that he's, "the first guy people would ring to go out with, or if they need cheering up."
His philosophy is to "enjoy life, and make sure others enjoy theirs". He thinks that he'll do well in the house as he's very competitive, but is also team orientated." His motivation for taking part in Big Brother is to "win, win, win."
Liam says that he "doesn't do too badly with the women... I'm not Brad Pitt, but I'm not Quasimodo's brother." His ideal woman is one "I have to work for - a challenge."
While in the house, Liam says that the person he'll miss most is his best mate Phil. The tree surgeon says he hates rudeness, likes tact, and in ten years' time would like to have his own business.[1]
