Laziz Rustamov

Abdulaziz "Laziz" Rustamov was an adult housemate on Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10.

Known as the "Model-skarteng (a portmanteau of the words "model" and "diskarte" [strategy], meaning a strategic model) Breadwinner" of Uzbekistan, history was made by Laziz as the first Central Asian housemate to enter into the Pinoy Big Brother house in its 17 years of existence. A pusong Pinoy (Filipino at heart) is what he embodies despite being purely Uzbek.

Upon his arrival in the Philippines in 2017, Laziz initially felt reserved in communicating with the other adult housemates upon entering PBB Airlines. However, as time passed and he extended his stay, he forged friendships and alliances, primarily with the Juane siblings. He managed to navigate through the first few double evictions and even a rare triple eviction.

Laziz gained recognition among housemates and the public through a task by Big Brother that required him to teach his native culture to the housemates through rapping, with the assistance of his fellow male housemates (excluding the new entrants Andrei King and Roque Coting). Additionally, he had a 100 Seconds Encounter a few days later to virtually connect with his mother in Uzbekistan, sharing a birthday message for her.

Benefiting from not being nominated for eviction in the initial rounds due to being perceived as non-threatening by other housemates, Laziz's journey took a turn when he faced nomination on Week 19 through the Ligtask Challenge. He, along with Michael Ver Comaling, was saved through a twist in the challenge. However, his PBB journey concluded after receiving an automatic nomination for failing to secure the third Final Five spot (claimed by Seham Daghlas) a week later. Laziz was eventually evicted on a double eviction on Day 141 alongside Nathan's younger sister, Raf Juane.

Pure Uzbek but Pusong Pinoy (Pinoy at heart). The first time he came to the Philippines was in 2017 but settled in 2019.
He had signed contracts in the modeling agency which gave him the opportunity to travel in Asia, his first stop was the Philippines.
He grew up early, in a sense where he was the man of the house since his dad left when he was still a kid.
He came from a struggling family where he had to skip school sometimes at an early age just to help his mother have more funds for the family.
When he was 18, he was scouted by a modeling agency.
They didn’t have a decent-looking house so he always lied to his friends about his address because they couldn’t afford rental houses. That’s why he decided to save up and renovate it. In 2019, the renovation finished and it was the time that he saw his mom the happiest.^[1]
