Background

The season was first announced on July 28, 2021, revealing that 16 contestants would enter the house and be under constant surveillance 24/7, with the viewers being able to access the live feeds on the show's website. Big Brother Mexico VIP 3 alum Héctor Sandarti would host the show alongside Jimena Gállego as co-host.
