Kara Monaco was a HouseGuest on Big Brother 14. Kara was a member of Team Dan in the Coaches twist.
When the 4 coaches were selecting players to join their teams, Kara was the first houseguest chosen to be on Dan's team. Despite her effort in the first HOH competition, her team placed last, meaning she and her teammates were automatically nominated for eviction. Dan, as Kara's coach, had the sole vote to evict, choosing Jodi Rollins and keeping Kara safe. Initially, it seemed as though Mike "Boogie" Malin's player, Ian Terry, would be targeted for his strange personality, but at the coaches competition, Dan threw the comp, while Mike Boogie won and used his power to immunize Ian. This meant that Kara was now in danger of becoming a target, and Head of Household Willie Hantz, under pressure from an alliance between Janelle Pierzina and Britney Haynes' players, nominated Kara alongside Frank Eudy, another one of Boogie's players. She was evicted in a 5-3 vote, placing 15th.
