A member of Team Defender, Josh was the clear outsider. On Day 3, he had a meltdown in fear of an all-guys alliance, causing many of his houseguests to dislike him. He was almost voted out until Latoya Anderson decided to flip the vote to evict Julie Vu. In Week 2, he was nominated with Kiefer Collison by Austin Dookwah for being the house target. After Kiefer won the Power of Veto, Austin nominated Rohan Kapoor in his place, making clear in her speech that he was the pawn. Growing tired of his lies, Jedson Tavernier called a house meeting to expose Josh. This actually benefited him, as Latoya considered evicting Rohan instead. After campaigning to them, The Sunsetters tried to convince others to flip the vote and save Josh. However, they failed to get enough votes, and Josh was voted out in an unanimous 10-0 vote, placing 13th.
