The Mr. Mixed Martial Father of Laguna is no match for the challenges that Big Brother would throw to him and his fellow celebrity housemates. John is a model, mixed martial arts artist, a male beauty pageant expert, and a father to his children.
Despite having numerous wins and losses on the world of mixed martial arts, he's ready to show his other side by playing as a celebrity housemate on Pinoy Big Brother. John entered on the show's premiere and he was really eager to meet his fellow co-players.
Things started to downfall for John when he had a heated argument with Madam Inutz and Brenda Mage, the task leaders for their Pa-Mine Pa More weekly task when John forgot to bring the items intended for selling as he forgot to bring it to the activity area.
Big Brother summoned John to the confession room and he was given a secret reward task; to practice their Tumba Table weekly task with four other housemates of his choice. The five of them must successfully stand 35 wooden blocks within 2 hours. John was successful in his secret task, and he was given a recorded video of her fiancée and their child, making him emotional.
Getting 11 nomination points on the first round of nominations, John was one of the first three nominees of the Celebrity Edition along with KD Estrada and Karen Bordador. The heated argument between him, Mage, and Madam Inutz made the housemates' perception of him go worse and is the only reason why it made him become nominated for the first and last time.
John was announced as the first evictee of the edition on Day 22 as he placed third on the final tally of votes, getting a combined save-to-evict percentage of 0.30% against Karen's 18.44% and KD's 45.04%.
