Jillian MacLaughlin is the winner of Big Brother Canada 1.
Jillian was known for backstabbing and breaking deals with many houseguests throughout the game. She also proved herself to be a competition threat winning 4 HOHs. Early in the game Jillian formed a romantic relationship with Emmett Blois, and the pair became a dominant force in the house as part of the East Coast Alliance along with Andrew Monaghan and Talla Rajaei. Through all this Jillian was able to make it to the final 2. In the final vote of the season, Jillian ended up receiving Andrew, Emmett and Talla’s jury votes along with Topaz Brady’s infamous vote, where she accidentally voted for Jillian. In the end Jillian ended up becoming the first winner of Big Brother Canada by a final jury vote of 4-3.
