Jen was known for being frequently tormented by Dick Donato's insults, her rivalry with Daniele Briones, not being liked by many of her fellow houseguests, and frequently talking about herself. She is also known for her meltdown upon seeing her memory wall photo, which she dubbed as "the worst picture I've ever taken". She is also known for wearing shirts that said puns about her nickname (e.g. I'm a "Jenius"). After being nominated as a replacement nominee by Daniele in week seven, Jen violated a Big Brother rule by eating food while on a mandatory slop. This earned her a penalty vote on eviction night, and she was evicted in a unanimous 6-0 vote placing 8th and becoming the second member of the jury.

Soon after Big Brother 8, Jen began to date her fellow houseguest Nick Starcevic (who ironically disliked Jen and was in a showmance with Daniele Donato during that season).
Mike Malin has reported that he helped train Jen for Big Brother.
Every time Jen was nominated at the nomination ceremony, she was vetoed or won the veto that week sitting next to fellow houseguest Kail Harbick, and this happened for 3 weeks in a row.
Fittingly, Jen is the first woman to be backdoored.
Jen is the first houseguest to violate a food restriction. For doing so, she received a penalty vote. (She had been nominated for eviction that week.). She was followed by Audrey Middleton and Matthew Clines.
Originally, Jen was given a penalty nomination, which would have been effective the following week in the event that she was not evicted. This was changed to a penalty vote after several other houseguests complained that it unfair because it gave them an incentive to vote to evict Jameka Cameron, the other nominee for that week.
Jen is the first houseguest to receive a unitard to wear on the show.
