James David Maslow was a houseguest on Celebrity Big Brother 1 (US).
He was best known for being a big target, his friendship with Mark McGrath, and rivalry with Brandi Glanville. He was nominated as the target alongside his friend Chuck Liddell at the first nomination ceremony, but managed to survive eviction due to Shannon Elizabeth flipping the vote. He then aligned with Shannon. He along with Shannon were nominated in week 2, but he escaped eviction by winning the Power of Veto though Shannon was evicted. Following her eviction, he and his closest remaining ally, Mark, made separate deals with Ross Mathews and Marissa Jaret Winokur, and his former rival, Omarosa Manigault. He survived until the second half of the Double Eviction, where he was nominated by HOH Omarosa after Ross, the original target, won the PoV. He was evicted in a 2-1 vote, receiving only Mark's vote to stay. He placed 6th and became the sixth member of the jury.

Not having the freedom to go and do what I'm used to. I definitely enjoy my own space and will have none of that. What moment in your career do you think prepared you to live in the Big Brother house?
Being on my first tour. Definitely didn't have much room on that tour bus! Which past Big Brother cast member did you like most?
The dude from Chill Town...Will. Do you have a strategy for winning the game?
Pick who I think is the strongest player and team up with them. My life's motto is…
Success comes when preparation meets opportunity. Not sure that will apply for this one though! What would you take into the house and why?
- Cards Against Humanity.
- A piano.
- Some books. Fun facts about yourself:
- Used to ride horses (western) and considered going into rodeo for a while.
- I went hang gliding with a dude in Rio who didn't speak a word of English… that was trust.
