Hourglass is a recurring Power of Veto and Head of Household competition. It is a variation of the Giddy Up competition.
Rules[]
This competition involves players either stacking objects or building a puzzle while needing to refill their timer.
In Big Brother 23 (US), this competition was played in teams; each team assembling a puzzle while swapping teammates to reset their timer to 25 seconds, and the winning teammate who placed the last piece of the puzzle became HOH.
In Big Brother: Reindeer Games, this competition was the third stage of the final competition, and since it was a head to head match between the Final Two, there was no timer element required.
