Helen Wood is the winner of Big Brother 15 (UK) and was a "Time Warp Housemate" on Big Brother 16 (UK).
She was one of the most controversial housemates that the UK series ever had, she was known for her aggressive behavior towards many of her fellow housemates. She was warned numerous times throughout her stay in both seasons for her behavior. Despite this, she managed to win by less than a percent of the public vote, beating season long rival Ashleigh Coyle.

- Helen is a down to earth Northerner who tells it like it is.
- She hit headlines three years ago when she was involved in a tabloid scandal involving a well-known personality. She says she doesn't regret her actions, but wishes it hadn't come out in the press where it got blown out of all proportion.
- She lives with her son who is ten and absolutely adores him.
- Helen has very forthright views, and compares herself to Katie Hopkins. She was brought up a Catholic, but doesn't practice now and is strongly against abortion.
- Helen’s best personality trait is making others laugh. "I’ve always been the class clown, and I think it's important to always have a sense of humour. I'm rarely serious".

- She recently spent £6,000 on veneers.

Post Big Brother[]
- After her appearance in Big Brother 16 (UK), the head of Channel 5; Ben Frow banned Helen from ever appearing on Big Brother UK or its spinoff; Bit on the Side, admitting he regretted letting her return in 2015.[2]
- In 2015, Helen was arrested over an incident involving fellow housemate Danielle McMahon.[3]
