Hardy began the game as part of the The Other People alliance. Hardy also joined The Untouchables alliance with Krista Stegall and Monica Bailey, as a side alliance to The Other People. After Hardy won Head of Household during the third week, he targeted the showmance of Shannon Dragoo and Will Kirby, nominating them alongside each other. This led to several arguments and incidents with Shannon, including the infamous moment of Shannon scrubbing the toilet with Hardy’s toothbrush. Later Shannon was evicted. Hardy’s game began to unravel after he had a falling out with the other members of The Untouchables. Despite Hardy winning Head of Household during week eight and evicting Bunky Miller, whom Hardy saw as the biggest competition threat to him, his fallout with Monica ended up costing him. After Monica won Head of Household, she nominated Hardy and ended up giving Will, whom Hardy had nominated several the times, the sole power to evict. Will cast the sole vote to evict Hardy, placing 4th, and becoming the 8th member of the jury.
