Taslima Bano, who is more commonly known by stage name Gori Nagori, was a housemate on Bigg Boss 16 (Hindi).
Entering the show as one of India's most famous dancers, Gori became an instant fan favourite along with her friend Altaf Shaikh after they were targeted and shunned by the rest of the house due to their poor backgrounds.
Despite being one of the initial members of the popular alliance Haq se Mandali - consisting of Abdu Rozik, Altaf, Nimrit Ahluwalia, Sajid Khan, Shiv Thakare, Sumbul Touqeer and herself, she didn't shy away from controversy; Getting into physical altercations with Archana Gautam over food issues and Shalin Bhanot over his aggressive behaviour during tasks, her fight with Sreejita De after the latter called her characterless, her fights with close allies Sajid and Shiv after she stole some food for her roommates, and once again with Sajid after the latter slammed her for not washing his clothes.
However, her fandom increased exponentially due to her fearless attitude, taking a stand against wrong issues and even going at loggerheads with other fan favourites. She was nominated for eviction during a task on Week 6 against massive fan favourites Priyanka Choudhary and Sumbul. After a tough battle between the fandoms of the three ladies, Gori was shockingly evicted on Day 43, ultimately finishing in 16th place.
