Giacomo Urtis was a housemate on Grande Fratello VIP 5. He later competed as a 2-in-1 contestant with Valeria Marini on Grande Fratello VIP 6.

Giacomo entered the House during Grande Fratello VIP 5 on Day 64 as a guest: he was supposed to remain only for a few days, but his stay was met with praise from both the contestants and the public and it was extended week after week. Finally, on Day 82, he became an official contestant and was able to vote and be voted for. Giacomo was seen as a source of lighthearted fun and comic relief: his friendship with Dayane Mello made him gain support from her fans, and he was able to survive multiple public votes. His game came to an end on Day 113, finishing in 15th Place.

Giacomo was brought back for the following season, Grande Fratello VIP 6, and once again had a later entry in the House, on Day 78. It was revealed that Giacomo would be competing as a 2-in-1 housemate with fellow returnee Valeria Marini. The duo quickly left a mark as they would often disagree on many things, most notably who to nominate each time. While the fun dynamics helped them survive their first public vote and earn immunity in a couple of live shows, over time - and as the House started to split - Giacomo and Valeria found themselves on different sides, both receiving votes from people that the other duo member had beef with. This penalized them in the long run and lead to their eviction on Day 131, 54 days after their Entry.

Giacomo and Valeria are the only housemates in Grande Fratello VIP history to play as a 2-in-1 contestant that was never separated.
