Brandon "Frenchie" French was a houseguest on Big Brother 23 (US).
Frenchie started his game on a high note, becoming captain of the Jokers team, drafting his group, and winning HoH. When presented with a “double or nothing” opportunity to earn himself and his team safety for the first two weeks, he declined. Frenchie spent the first couple of days shifting through his nomination options, all while making promises to various houseguests. Though he settled on a “meathead” first boot, he went back on his word of not nominating women, intending to aim at Christian Birkenberger and Alyssa Lopez, believing that the two of them were forming a showmance. When people were understandably furious at his choice, he brought them into The Slaughterhouse alliance and attempted to target Derek Xiao, who happened to go on and win the veto. He got a final target in Travis Long, but this target also proved to be a difficult choice for him, as he had also promised him safety in the very first minutes of the game.
When Kyland Young won HOH the following week, Frenchie knew that he was in trouble. Feeling like all eyes were on him, Frenchie decided to sell out his “Slaughterhouse” alliance to everyone not involved. They, in turn, threw him under the bus, and Kyland returned the favor after being nominated by Frenchie last week and nominated him alongside Britini D'Angelo. He continued to make promises, like saying he would use the veto to take Britini off the block if he won it. When he lost the Veto competition, he was ready to go home right then and there, before realizing that he could attempt to make even more deals to avoid going out. Unfortunately for him, none of the houseguests were interested in keeping him after his disastrous HOH week. Frenchie was then evicted by a 11-1 vote, placing 15th.
