Teams is a twist that appeared in Big Brother US, Pinoy Big Brother and Big Brother Canada where houseguests are grouped together to form a team and compete together for certain advantages in the game such as rewards and power.

Big Brother U.S.

Big Brother 18

• Teams - In Big Brother U.S., the Team twist first appeared in Big Brother 18. Similar to the Clique twist in Big Brother 11 and the Coach twist in Big Brother 14, the houseguests were divided up into four teams of four for the beginning of the season, with 4 veteran houseguests representing each team.

Big Brother 23

• Teams - The Team twist reappeared in Big Brother 23. The houseguests entered the house in four groups of four and competed. The winners of each group became Team Captains.

Big Brother Canada

Big Brother Canada 9

• Teams - In Big Brother Canada 9, the house was divided into two teams of seven, with the Team Captains being determined by a preseason fan vote. The Captains then chose their teams on the first night.

Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up

• House Teams: In Pinoy Big Brother, the concept of "teams" first appeared in Double Up, where it featured two houses, House A and House B with two groups of housemates. The "House Teams" competed for shopping budget and advantages through Weekly Tasks. The teams were unified after the house merge and remaining 14 housemates occupied House A.

Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010

• House Teams: On the earlier part of the series, the two houses were occupied by two sets of housemates classified based on their social status in real life. Inside, the two teams lived opposite to their social status; the Have-Not Housemates lived in a luxurious villa with pools and beds while Haves lived in the Apartment with no beds. On the first weeks, Team Apartment and Team Villa competed against each other for weekly shopping budget and certain advantages. On Day 23, the two teams were merged and lived on Villa.

• Pinoy vs. Teenternationals: The merged house formed Team Pinoy after a set of foreign-born teens residing in the country, called Teenternationals entered the unoccupied Apartment. The second part of the series focused on the clash of the two teams. Even after the house merge, the teams existed all the way to finale. The two teams competed in various competitions for advantages in the game, most especially gaining slots in the Big Night.

Pinoy Big Brother: Unlimited

• Wayuk vs. High Voltage: During the middle of this season, it introduced two teams that must compete in a series of Kontra Battle challenges for 10 weeks, wherein it involved a pot money as prize for every challenge. At the end of 10 weeks, the money that the teams collected from winning the challenges will be shared among the final five housemates of each teams.

Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7

• Dream Team: With the season being a four-part season, the season's final part dubbed as "Dream Team", classified the finalists of the first three parts of the season into three groups, namely; Lucky Stars for the Celebrity chapter's finalists, Lucky Suns for Teen Chapter's finalists, and Lucky Houses for the Civilian chapter's finalists. These three sets of finalists must return back to the house for the final chapter, and individually compete for the ultimate finale's Lucky 7 slots.

Pinoy Big Brother: Otso

• Batch Teams: As Otso introduced the "Batch" format, the season aired in five parts consecutively, wherein each batch had its own Batch Big Four and Batch Big Winner. During the fifth and final part of the series, which is dubbed as Ultimate Batch, the four Batch Big Four finalists, along with the eventual Batch Big Winner, re-entered the house and they were teamed up to compete against other batches in order to gain slots for their team in the ultimate finale. There were 8 slots for the finale, and as the first four slots were reserved for the four Batch Winners, the non-winning members of each batch must team up to get the remaining slots in the finale. A series of challenges would take place for each of the remaining four slots. If their batch wins and gets one slot, all members of the batch (except those who secured a spot already) would be eligible to be selected by the public to take up that slot in the finale. The process would continue until all 8 slots in the finale are occupied.
