Big Brother Australia 13 is the thirteenth season of the Australian version of Big Brother.
Background
The House
Last's seasons house was used once again. However, Channel 7 revealed that the next season of the show would move to a brand new house. Compared to last season, the house had very few differences. The "Green Room" was replaced by the new "Cave Room" and the house had a new area specifically for the nomination competitions.

| 2 | 9 | On Day 9, the housemates had to participate in "Scary-Oke." Each housemate had to enter the Scary-Oke room one at a time and sing "Walking on Sunshine." However, if one housemate failed, the whole house would fail the task. |

For the next 24 hours, the housemates had to deactivate the alarms when they rang. | 4 | 23 | On Day 23, two housemates selected by Big Brother, Sarah Jane and Tilly, had to complete a task in the "Panic Room" to escape punishment. However, if they fail, Big Brother would force two housemates to guard Big Brother's door for the entire night. |

If the housemates realized that his bag was switched or become suspicious that he is involved in a secret mission, he would fail the task. However, if he succeeds in convincing the housemates, he would earn a steak and chips feast. In addition, Daniel was allowed to bring another housemate to the feast. He chose Adriana. |

| 7 | 44 | On Day 44, the housemates were given a panic room task. Throughout the day, two housemates would enter the panic room at a time. All of the housemates had to stay inside until Big Brother said otherwise. If a housemate left the Panic Room prematurely, the housemates would fail the task and be punished. |

| 46-47 | From Days 46-47, the housemates, over the course of 24 hours, were given a shopping task. After an alarm sounds, a name would appear on the living room screen, and that housemate would have to lie down and strap themselves onto a wheel. The remaining housemates would have to begin spinning the wheel before the alarm stops. For every successful attempt to spin the wheel, the housemates would earn $10 for the shopping budget. However, if the housemates do not make it to the wheel in time or the housemate spun leaves the wheel before being told to do so, the housemates would not earn the shopping money. | $180 | ||||

Over the course of 60 minutes, Ari had to have a meaningful conversation with each of the seven other housemates about a topic of Big Brother's choice. However, Big Brother later revealed that Ari's task was fake, and instead, gave the secret mission to Tilly. Tilly's secret mission was to avoid having a conversation with Ari. If she successfully did so, the housemates would receive a phone call from home. |

However, because Sarah Jane won an advantage in the challenge, she had the "Replay Advantage," which would allow her to choose replay the challenge again if she desired. Next, the housemates had to complete a 9-piece puzzle in the shape of an arrow. Finally, the housemates had to smash a box in order to retrieve the ball. They then had to complete a ball maze.
