Promi Big Brother 7 is the seventh season of Promi Big Brother.
Background[]
Promi Big Brother returns for a seventh season starting on August 9th, 2019. Jochen Schropp and Marelene Lufen return as the co-hosts for this season.
It was announced that this season of Promi Big Brother would recieve a logo and general design refresh. The new eye logo was released before the premiere as a preview of the new aesthetic.[1]
House[]
As in previous seasons, the Promi Big Brother house features two sides. "Alles" or Everything is a luxury summer escape where the housemates can enjoy food and relax without a care in the world. "Nichts" or Nothing has limited supplies, rough sleeping arrangements, and a harsh environment to survive in.
This year there is a overall theme for the house which is Camping. There is not a actual "house". Both sides of the compound feature and open air environment leaving the housemates exposed to the elements.
The luxury camp features a modern "glamping" style, including a ktichen with fridge and oven, beds, spacious safari style tents and a hot tub. The poor side however modeled after a run down campsite, with backpackers tents, sleeping bags, no food and a cold shower.
Twists[]
- Returning Players: On Day 3, Big Brother Germany 1 housemate Zlatko Trpkovski entered the house after over a decade of being away from the media.
- Move In:The first 9 housemates moved in on Wednesday, August 7th two days before the live show. All 9 moved into the campsite area of the house and were only allowed to choose one personal item to bring with them. Big Brother provided the housemates with a basic care kit including toiletries, a sleeping bag, and a mat. On the Day 1 live show on August 9th, Almklausi, Sylvia, and Zlatko moved into the house.
- Shopping Challenges: Each day the "Nothing" housemates will receive 1€ per person per day for shopping. Big Brother will give tasks and challenges in order to earn extra money to spend in the shopping center located in the house. The housemates will only receive 60 seconds of shopping time to buy items with their shopping budget.

Duel Arena History[]
Each episode one or more duels will take place. This year duels have been renamed "matches" in which only poor housemates will participate. One or more housemates will participate in each duel in order to earn more money for their shopping budget. The housemates automatically receive 1€ per person per day. Each task completed within the match will earn the housemates 1€ extra. Upon successful completion of a match housemates are offered the chance to double their winnings, however failure to complete the doubling challenge will result in the loss of all winnings earning the housemates only the base amount.

Days One -Three[]
Move In
Prior to the official start of the season 9 of the 12 housemates moved in on Wednesday, August 7th. These housemates were only allowed to choose one personal item to bring into the bad side of the house referred to as the campsite.
During the live show Almklausi, Sylvia, and Zlatko moved into the house, and like the others were only allowed to choose one personal item to bring into the house with them. B
Task
The housemates selected Lilo to participate in a task given by Big Brother. She had to select a total of 90 items of clothing provided by Big Brother, 10 for each housemate, to wear during their time in the campsite. All other clothes were confiscated by Big Brother.
Public Vote
The public voted on who they wanted to move into the "Luxury Camp" (aka "Everything") with those receiving the most votes moving in immediately. Zlatko, Joey, and Jürgen were chosen to move in.
Duel Arena
"Nothing" housemates participated in a live duel in order to earn shopping money to use in the shopping center located in the house. The housemates had the chance to win 1 Euro per person if they completed the challenge.
The housemates only had 8 minutes in total for the 8 participating housemates to complete the challenge. Lilo sat out on medical grounds. The housemates had to traverse a balance beam suspended in the air and jump off the end and grab a piggy bank containing 1€. The housemates collected €2 out of a possible 8€.
Day Four[]
Big Spender Task The housemates had the chance to win 5 coins for the big spender machine located in the poor side of the house. Housemates were given 130 minutes to piece together song lyrics in order to earn all 5 coins.
The housemates failed this task resulting in 0 coins earned.
Shopping Match Housemates were split in to pairs to participate in this match: Tobias and Janine, Ginger and Chris, Almklausi and Sylvia, Eva and Theresia. Lilo did not participate. Housemates had to move balls from the starting line and place them into a fish bowl using only their mouths. Each successful transfer earned 1€.
Housemates won 5€ and doubled it to 10€ after completing an extra round. This gave housemates a total of 19€ to shop with in the supermarket.
Luxury House Vote The housemates living in the luxury camp voted to bring Lilo into the luxury camp unanimously.
Public Vote The public had a chance to vote between the four luxury camp housemates to move to the poor camp. The public decided to move Jürgen to the poor camp.
Day Five[]
Viewer Care Package The public voted online between two items to send to the poor camp housemates. They choose a kiddie pool.
Shopping Match Tobias and Janine were selected by the poor housemates to participate in this match. They had to stand under shower heads filled with liquids and and to taste them to guess which they were. They failed this task by getting more than half incorrect resulting in 0€ extra earned for their budget.
Luxury House Vote The housemates living in the luxury camp voted to bring Janine and Tobi to move into the luxury camp.
Public Vote The public had a chance to vote between the four luxury camp housemates to move to the poor camp. The public decided to move Zlatko to the poor camp.
Day Six[]
Viewer Care Package The public voted online between two items to send to the poor camp housemates. They choose a bar of soap.
Big Spender Task
Housemates had the opportunity to win 6 coins for the big spender machine. Housemates had to traverse a circle while standing on crates. Touching the ground would inncur a fail, too many fails and no coins would be awarded. Housemates had 1 fail which was less than the amount given by Big Brother and earned all 6 coins.
Shopping Match At the beginning of the live show Big Brother provided the housemates with a ring toss lawn game. Before the match Big Brother asked housemates to pick the four best throwers from the group. They chose Zlatko, Jürgen, Theresia, and Sylvia. These four housemates were suspended 6 meters in the air and played a giant game of ring toss. Each successful throw would earn an additional Euro up to a maximum of 8 Euros. Jürgen tapped out of the match after climbing the throwing tower. Zlatko was the only housemate to score a point earning one extra Euro for the shopping budget. Big Brother offered housemates the chance to bet their earnings by by having one more successful throw. Housemates reject this offer leaving them with a total of 9 euros to shop with.
Punishment During the shopping from day five, Chris did not follow the rules of Big Brother's Supermarket. He held two items in his hand at the same time and did not call out the item he was scanning. Due to this Big Brother subtracted the amount of the item from thier current budget, 1.79€ leaving a total of 7.21€ for their daily shopping.
