Ella was best known for her strong-minded, independent, and determined personality.
Early on in the competition, Ella was able to form a decent amount of friendships, most especially with Aizyl Tandugon. However, the two found themselves outside of the many social circles in the house as the season progressed. She also had some misunderstandings with her fellow housemates worsening the other housemates' perception of her. Because of this, Ella became vulnerable as the easy target for nominations. On Week 7, Ella initially became HOH alongside Alyssa Exala. Nonetheless, after competing in a series of Supercharged Challenges, she was eventually dethroned by Chico Alicaya and later became one of his nominees. Week 8 went even worse for her as she found herself nominated once again alongside her closest friend, Aizyl, who eventually became the evictee of that week. After Aizyl's eviction, Ella became the usual target by most housemates. As the season progressed with more nomination and safety challenges, Ella failed to recover from her Supercharged Challenge losses despite winning some challenges early on in the game, making her constantly nominated.
Ironically, despite becoming a constant target by the housemates, Ella gained a fanbase from the viewing public, who most thought that she received unfair treatment and was backstabbed and ostracized by the Council of Opinions members. The casual Filipino viewers also saw her as the underdog. With her big fanbase, Ella managed to remain safe from eviction despite having been nominated every week. Interestingly, Ella's fans often found themselves clashing with the supporters of other housemates and often found themselves voting to evict each other's housemates during the save-evict voting. Despite it, Ella's supporters still made enough save votes for her to stay inside the house for many weeks.
On Week 12, Ella found herself on the nomination block for the sixth time. This time, she was nominated against Amanda Zamora. Unfortunately, Ella and her supporters failed to combat a large number of evict votes against her. After garnering 19.65% save votes and -29.02% evict votes, Ella was evicted from the Big Brother house.
After receiving a total of 99 nomination points in Pinoy Big Brother: Connect, Ella currently holds the record of accumulating the highest number of nomination points in Big Brother history, surpassing the 95 nomination points record of Christian Morones in Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7.
