Elissa Anne Slater was a houseguest on Big Brother 15 (US).

Elissa quickly gained notoriety from the other houseguests for being Rachel Reilly's sister. Other HouseGuests became suspicious of Elissa's influence on the viewers as she was voted the MVP for the first three weeks. Elissa managed to survive eviction for the first two weeks, causing major chaos throughout the house. She began to play a quieter game until her ally Helen Kim was evicted in Week 8. During the second half of the second Double Eviction in Week 10, Elissa was unable to save herself with the POV and she was evicted in a unanimous 3-0 vote, placing 6th and becoming the sixth member of the jury.

On Finale Night, Elissa was awarded $25,000 as the winner of America's Favorite Houseguest.

Living: Kannapolis, N.C.
Occupation: Nutritionist
Marital Status: Married Mom
Three adjectives that describe you: Effervescent, ambitious and intriguing.
Favorite Activities: I love to do Yoga. I practice every day. I also run frequently as well as play tennis. I travel a lot, and I love seeing the history of other countries. I like to go to the movies and cook.
What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the “Big Brother” house? Not talking to my husband or son. It will be difficult because I’m not away from both of them at the same time ever. I’m with either one or the other.
Strategy for winning “Big Brother”: I am going to bring qualities to the table that the house will like and want to keep around. I’m going to try and keep to myself and not let my emotions get the best of me. I’ll be more of a listener so I can feel out what’s going on in the other houseguests' minds.
Which past “Big Brother” cast member did you like most or least? Rachel Reilly rocks!!! I am biased. Rachel is fun, entertaining, plays the game, didn’t lie very often to get ahead and she is so hilarious. Monet was my least favorite because she was so bad at the game.
What are you afraid of? I’m afraid of heights and planes.
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of? I am most proud of my son. He is so precious and such a beautiful boy and loves the Lord. It makes me feel amazing to know I contributed to his personality.
Finish this sentence: My life’s motto is… Live life to the fullest and have no regrets. Thank God for each good day he gives you and learn from the bad days and try not to repeat what caused them. Make no mistake twice. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. What would you take into the house and why? A bible, yoga mat, and spray tan. What would you do if “Big Brother” made you famous: Use it to minister and help others.[1]

Big Brother 15

On week 1, Elissa quickly became a target among the houseguests as they realized that she was the sister of Rachel Reilly. Elissa admitted this to the HOH McCrae Olson, who initially didn't nominate her for eviction. Elissa became crowned the first MVP winner of the summer, and she confided in McCrae about this. McCrae suggested that Elissa nominates David Girton for eviction, and Elissa did so to gain McCrae's trust. The houseguests began to turn against Elissa more after it emerged that she was the MVP, and after McCrae wins the POV, he used it on his original nomination Candice Stewart and replaced her with Elissa. Nevertheless, The Moving Company alliance campaign to get rid of David instead of Elissa. Elissa was also able to get the votes of her close ally Helen Kim and other houseguests who wished to align with her to control her MVP vote in future weeks such as Amanda Zuckerman and Judd Daugherty. As a result, Elissa survived the first eviction, with 5 of the houseguests voting to evict her and the other seven voting to evict David.

Following David's eviction, Aaryn Gries became the second HoH. Aaryn blamed Elissa for her close ally, David being evicted and chooses Elissa to be a Have-Not for the week. Aaryn continued to target Elissa and nominated her for eviction alongside Helen. Elissa then discovered, however, that she was the winner of the MVP vote for the second week in a row. She decided to nominate Jeremy McGuire ,as he was a physical threat who was targeting Elissa. Jeremy then won the PoV, however, and Elissa was forced to make another nomination. She initially considered nominating Jeremy's 'showmance' Kaitlin Barnaby, yet after realizing with Helen and Candice that there was an all-male alliance running the house controlled by Jeremy and Nick Uhas, Elissa nominated Nick. Elissa and Helen then campaigned to evict Nick, and they were successful in getting the votes of Candice Stewart, Amanda Zuckerman, McCrae Olson, Judd Daugherty, Andy Herren, Jessie Kowalski and Spencer Clawson. As a result, Nick became the second houseguest to be evicted, by a vote of 7-4-0.

Elissa and Helen maintained their power on Week 3, when Helen won the third HoH competition. They planned to backdoor Jeremy, and Helen nominated Aaryn & Kaitlin as pawns. When Elissa wins the MVP for the third time, Amanda and McCrae attempt to pressure her into putting up Howard, after the truth of The Moving Company alliance was revealed. However, Elissa refused and nominated Spencer instead. Elissa then voted to evict Jeremy along with the rest of the house that week. On week 4, Elissa initially survived eviction when her ally Judd won the HoH and nominated Aaryn & Kaitlin. She was left shocked, however, when she became selected as the third nominee. Unbeknown to her, it was America who voted her as the third nominee in a shocking twist. Nevertheless, she was able to win the 'Big Brother Election' POV competition and used it on herself. Hoping to evict her main rival Aaryn, Elissa was annoyed after discovering that her allies had made a deal with Aaryn to keep her in the game, and take out Kaitlin instead. Elissa informed Kaitlin of this agreement, leading to a significant argument between Aaryn and Elissa, when Aaryn overheard Elissa doing this. Realising that she did not have the numbers, Elissa voted to evict Kaitlin along with the rest of the house.

On week 5, Aaryn became the HoH. However, Elissa avoids becoming nominated because of Aaryn's deal with Elissa's allies, which required her to put up Howard and Spencer instead. Elissa then voted to evict Howard along with the rest of the house. On Week 6, Elissa survived being nominated again, when Candice and Jessie became nominated by HoH GinaMarie Zimmerman. When Jessie wins the PoV, GinaMarie considered renominating Elissa. However, Helen convinced her not to, and she renominated Spencer instead. Elissa and Helen joined Jessie and Candice in a plan to backdoor Amanda, who became nominated against Candice and Spencer. However, Elissa was forced to back out of the program by Helen, after Helen talked to Andy. Elissa then reluctantly voted to evict Candice along with the rest of the house. At the double eviction that night, Elissa voted to remove Judd along with the rest of the house.

On Week 7, Elissa survived eviction when Andy became the HoH and nominated Jessie and Spencer. When Jessie and Helen got in an argument after Helen mentioned to the other houseguests that Jessie has been campaigning against Amanda, Jessie informs Amanda that Helen and Elissa were part of the plan to vote her out. Elissa and Helen denied this, however, and voted to evict Jessie. Helen became Amanda, and her allies' main target after Amanda discovers that Helen had been campaigning to get her out, and when Aaryn, who had become aligned with Amanda, wins the HOH on week 8, she nominates Helen for eviction alongside Elissa. Elissa then wins the PoV and uses it on herself. Spencer then became nominated in her place. Elissa and Helen campaigned to evict Spencer, and they can get GinaMarie and Andy's votes. They soon realized, however, that Andy was lying to them and was planning to evict Helen along with Amanda & McCrae. As a result, Helen was evicted by a vote of 4-1, with Elissa being the only person voting to keep her.

Following Helen's eviction, Elissa became HoH for the first time in the 'Off The Wall' competition. Elissa targeted her rival Aaryn, and nominated her alongside McCrae, viewing McCrae as a competitive threat. Shortly after, Elissa regretted her decision, and realized that she needed to target Amanda as she had been controlling the game. Elissa got Aaryn, GinaMarie, and Judd (who returned to the game this week) on board with the plan to backdoor Amanda. However, their plan failed when Amanda won the POV, and used it on McCrae. Fearing that Elissa will renominate Andy, Amanda, and Andy hatched a plan where Amanda would torment Elissa, and Andy went to console her to gain her trust, however, their plan failed, and Elissa renominated Andy. Aaryn then became evicted by a unanimous vote.

On Week 10, Elissa was kept safe by GinaMarie, when she became HoH having made a deal with her the previous week, and GinaMarie nominated Amanda & McCrae for eviction. She then renominated Spencer when McCrae wins the POV. Despite Amanda & Elissa's conflict, Amanda was able to convince Elissa to keep her in the game by making her realize that she will become the house's primary target once Amanda leaves, and Elissa votes to evict Spencer instead. Amanda still became ousted when Andy turned against her, and GinaMarie sent Amanda home in a tiebreaker vote. At the double eviction that night, McCrae won the HOH, and nominated Elissa for eviction alongside GinaMarie, when Andy framed Elissa for voting to evict Amanda. When Judd won the POV, he kept the nominations the same, and Elissa was then evicted in 6th place by a vote of 3-0 when Andy, Judd, and Spencer all voted to oust her due to their alliance with GinaMarie, making her the sixth member of the jury. At the Final 2, Elissa voted for Andy to win instead of GinaMarie, believing he played the best social game and made the most deals.
